Historia
N. T. Wright—widely regarded as the most influential commentator and interpreter of Paul—deftly unpacks this dense and sometimes elusive letter, detailing Paul's arguments and showing how it illuminates the Gospel from the promises to Abraham through the visions of Revelation. Wright takes a deep dive into Romans 8, showing how it illuminates so much else that God reveals in Scripture: God the Father, Christology, and the Spirit; Jesus' Messiahship, cross, resurrection, and ascension; salvation, redemption, and adoption; suffering and glory; holiness and hope.

Interesting conclusions for Romans
Revisado: 11-12-23
I enjoyed the overall theme while having some arguments left still in the balance, but strongly agree with the way Scripture was used for support, We live in a time where so much information is readily available it is wonderful when it;s balanced with truth as Wright made available in this fascinating book.

Historia
What does real, saving faith actually entail? The New Testament repeatedly emphasizes the need for repentance from sin and accompanying good works as evidence of true belief. However, as theologian Wayne Grudem argues in this book, the teachings of the Free Grace movement - which deny that good works need to be present in the life of the justified Christian - undermine the Bible's teaching regarding saving faith.

Sound doctrine.
Revisado: 07-19-23
This was a very comforting reading of a truth, that a true believer should have in his life. Sound doctrine is important to everyone. As long as people have a shollow belief system works like the one that Professor Grudem has are important.

Powerful truth’s
Revisado: 06-23-23
As I’ve had failing eyesight for about a year, this commentary helps me to listen to the truth of scripture and read as well with a copy of the print. What I like about this exposition of commentary on Romans that it is a life experience more than just a commentary.
