Historia
Jig the goblin was the runtiest member of an admittedly puny race. Jig was scrawny, so nearsighted as to be almost blind, and had such a poor self-image that when he chose a god to worship, it was one of the forgotten ones - after all, what other sort of god would have him as worshiper? He also had a cowardly fire-spider for a pet, a creature that was likely to set your hair on fire if it got into a panic. Made to stand tunnel watch by the goblin bullies who'd been assigned the job, it was just Jig's luck to be taken captive by a group of adventurers.

Theater of the mind
Revisado: 04-02-21
Rare to find a fantasy adventure book out of the perspective of a goblin, while being pleasantly enjoyable listen with a lot of humour.
That also doesn't depict the Goblin as a "selfish, backstabbing coward". But a rather likable sort, more so than the company around.
I also wanna praise the sound effects, voice acting and the great narration. it really did wonders in allowing you to feel like your watching a live performance, breathing life to the story.
I genuinely felt spoiled for how good quality this was.

Historia
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

Kindergarten kids are less whiny
Revisado: 12-22-20
The amount of whining coming from a character that seems somehow capable is quite off putting. I've tried to get through this book multiple times, but find myself giving on it, out of annoyance by the MC.
if I ever somehow get past the beginning and the book improves, I'll change my review.

Historia
One rat, popping up here and there, squeaking loudly, and taking a bath in the cream, could be a plague all by himself. After a few days of this, it was amazing how glad people were to see the kid with his magical rat pipe. And they were amazing when the rats followed hint out of town. They'd have been really amazed if they'd ever found out that the rats and the piper met up with a cat somewhere outside of town and solemnly counted out the money.

Historia
Alex has taken firm control over his county as the Count of Brit. By and large, everything has settled into a fairly normal pattern for him, his numbered, and his wife. There's still an ongoing war between two Duchies, and Regina Tannulf, Alex's liege and lord, has plans for him. Plans that he wants no part of. Except that he doesn't really have a choice in the matter.

Arousing & Enthralling
Revisado: 06-16-19
I mostly prefer to avoid giving any spoilers in books i really like and this is one of those books. Though it has some rather heavy erotic themes in it, the story outside of that is pure brilliant. It was in fact so good i got through the whole audio book in one sitting because i was unable to stop.
As for the Narrator; 10/10. She is pretty amazing at conveying different characters personalities and emotions to the point where even if she where to not name the character speaking, you could easily know who was talking, which is impressive considering how many characters she is voicing with only her own.
This is a book worth both the price and read and i whole heartily recommend it

Historia
The Colour of Magic, the first novel in Terry Pratchett's wildly imaginative Discworld series, takes the listener on a remarkable journey. The magical planet of Discworld is supported by four massive elephants who stand on the back of the Great A'Tuin, a giant turtle swimming slowly through the mysterious interstellar gulf. An eccentric expedition sets out to explore the planet, encountering dragons who only exist if you believe in them, and, of course, 'The Edge' of the planet.

From the fantastic reading to the voice acting, i never felt for a moment lost on who was speaking in the story nor did i struggle to understand the plot.
The book itself reminds me of a homebrew d&d. characters have personalities and flaws yet they made for a perfect action comedy
