Over all a good Trek Story

Unfortunate narrator

While the story was great and the narrator is good, you can tell he isn’t a Star Trek fan. He kept mispronouncing Star Trek words incorrectly which took me out of the story each time.

Too much

I really tried…. Just over four hours in and I think there are five separate story lines now. It keeps bouncing back and forth. My attention span just can’t handle it. Maybe after the SHTF I’ll finish this book because there will be no more new books but that will be after I listen to everything else in my library a few too many times. It wouldn’t be terrible if it was broken up into separate books maybe but it’s just too cluttered.

Usually a fan but not this time.

Ive been looking forward to this book for awhile but unfortunately it seemed like the entire thing was dedicated to dragging the series along. I was hoping this would offer some closure to the series or some of the store lines at least but it was the opposite. I honestly feel kind of ripped off. I won’t be purchasing any more books in this series.

Phenomenal

It’s rare that I’ll write a review, negative or positive for anything. This book though was amazing and deserving of a review. It’s the first great post apocalypse story with a gay male character I’ve found. There was just enough of everything, suspense, violence, romance etc. The author and narrator both did a phenomenal job.

Annoying to military.

Ever watch a military movie and couldn’t enjoy it because of all the awful inaccuracies. That’s kind of how this is. One example is the narrator pronounces POG as PAWG.
