BEST narrator EVER!!!

This narrator makes this book a hundred stars!!!! AND I love the author. Sometimes if someone is too famous, the book is somehow pompous. This lady and her narrator rock the boat! I can’t “do” boring, irritating or monotone voices!

Best self help EVER!

I have listened to hundreds of self help. THIS one from this author is THE BEST! I was a little worried at forty percent in that his angels thing with his face was going to expand. Even if it’s not hogwash, I don’t like when authors stroke themselves on pages about their angel other worldly experiences because we the reader are not having that and it feels like “look at me; I’m special”….. thankfully that is ten percent of the book. Everything else is SPOT ON!

I thought originally the start was stupid bug I am wrong. As you hang in there you realize this has little to do with the four agreements (which would be duplication) the light comes on 25 to 30 percent in. You start to realize you can create your own picture of good. I, personally, would not have had such a seemingly silly beginning….. 2 plus 2 is four🥱but the. You see🐣👁👁really see that all that helps you understand you are your own creation: make it beauty and say it is so. This book is worth it and trust me IM PICKY! They have banned me from returning here. You start to see you are your word but you have to hang in there for the ridiculously silly beginning. Hang In There. The magic turns the lights on if you do.

The adorable Bertrice!!!

The original Bertrice wrote a few of the books all by herself in the 80s and 90s. True fans know which ones were from her mind, alone. Some in this saga were then written with someone and they lose a bit of flavor and then alas someone took over completely. Other books written by others under her name are still good; but the rich color, beauty, passion and wonderful heroines are so flavorful from the real Ms. Small (yes this book is one of them) documenting Queen Elizabeth’s court and passionate intrigues she added, that you must (with tolerance) forgive the parts that are seedy and quite frankly violent against women. The heroine does triumph in love and as a matter of course, I am so in love with the food, the courage, the gems, the passion, and the fact that love wins, I always forgive the ridiculously dark interludes. I believe Small to be the actual creator of passion.♥️🎁✊🤗💎💎💎💎💎prepare to love this book as Val weds her cousin (which noble women did then) and also prepare to have to endure some dark chapters. But always our beloved heroines overcome things done to them and we’d their true loves. Just roll your eyes. The good will come.

Love Skye with all of my heart!

I cannot get enough of Skye’s passion and Adam’s Smokey blue eyes and as they climatically climb heights and I eat their days along with meat pasties and capon…..I am fed with damask rose scents and gleaming white thighs. Yes who doesn’t love the tempestuous beauty Skye!?

I love the innocence and beauty and excitement and specificity of detail to longing and food and emotions ALWAYS in the first half of the books in Skye saga but I don’t like the middle. I don’t like ladies getting stolen. Don’t worry you will still love it but it’s the first half where being at Queen Elizabeth’s court and the innocence and beauty is so stunning the book is like a religion of loveliness..♥️I’m sure you will agree and tough it out at the other part.

Uh….. Ms. Small?

I was really liking the story, but come on! We got to 30 percent in and her husband couldn’t figure out why she didn’t like coupling! Ummm
The B. Small I knew from the Skye series would have had her heroes um…. Let’s put it this way: feast. I lost respect for his prowess as a man that he didn’t go downward and took his own pleasure. I don’t know if I can forgive him. Sorry. I know it will change but….. she deserved the best when they first regularly got together. I’m sure you will like it tho.🙄
