Great Book on Relationship-Building
Revisado: 07-25-21
This book is great in detailing the relationships that a top broker has with their best clients. It is essentially a book on how to create a relationship that creates a deal pipeline from commercial brokers. I 100% recommend this book to those wishing to see through the eyes of a highly successful commercial multifamily broker. I myself am an apartment investor and know that relationships are the name of the game. This book gave me some insights to allow my relationships with brokers to skyrocket, so it is well, well, worth the purchase. Thanks Mr. Berry.

DeMarco is Maturing
Revisado: 07-23-21
I’ve read all DeMarco’s books, and they are life changing. He has definitely changed in this book, and though the other books a hinge upon a similar topic, this one also does justice to his brand. All his books are strong in different ways, similar to Star Wars episodes 1-3 or Star Wars episodes 4-6. If you read any of his books, you know what I mean. The man knows how to write, and I am so glad he did not commit suicide. God bless you, Mr. DeMarco.

A Very Insightful Book
Revisado: 01-21-21
For the price, this book is worth every silver piece. He opens my eyes in the fact that he has helped so many people own their first apartments, and the fact that he is still offering it makes this book an instant top book for apartment investing for me.
This book is a step-by-step how to book on how to acquire an apartment, and it is quite rushed in that he gives the steps he uses and leaves it at that. It really is not a detailed autobiography of his life; it is mainly a short synopsis of how he got started and then steps so you are able to own your own apartment. For those who want to get started in apartment investing, I believe this is a solid book to read and one which I will read again.

Historia
Meet a genuine American folk hero cut from the homespun cloth of America's heartland: Sam Walton, who parlayed a single dime store in a hardscrabble cotton town into Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world. The undisputed merchant king of the late 20th century, Sam never lost the common touch. Here, finally, inimitable words. Genuinely modest, but always sure of his ambitions and achievements. Sam shares his thinking in a candid, straight-from-the-shoulder style. In a story rich with anecdotes and the "rules of the road" of both Main Street and Wall Street, Sam Walton chronicles the inspiration, heart, and optimism that propelled him to lasso the American Dream.

A Humbling Book Showing What it Takes to Be a Real Entrepreneur
Revisado: 12-15-20
I originally purchased this book via reference to Tai Lopez’ book club, and it was quite interesting the first time I read it. Since then, now that I have started companies, reading it again really shows me the effort and resilience needed to succeed, really in anything. Sam Walton is a true entrepreneur, and frankly, is the best copycat there is. Even so, his emphasis on the Kaizen principle and always putting the customer first is an excellent life principle and explains how Walmart rose to the top. It’d be great to speak with him in person, though this book gives more than enough about what is needed. Highly recommended book, in my opinion.

Historia
In 1971, President Nixon imposed national price controls and took the United States off the gold standard, an extreme measure intended to end an ongoing currency war that had destroyed faith in the U.S. dollar. Today we are engaged in a new currency war, and this time the consequences will be far worse than those that confronted Nixon. Currency wars are one of the most destructive and feared outcomes in international economics.

Did not disappoint
Revisado: 12-01-20
I heard about him from Robert Kiyosaki on his podcast, when describing how currency was being stolen from me, a common citizen, by debasement. To strengthen my financial intelligence, I read this and understand how this phenomenon occurs on a global scale, much more than only on US soil.
What I like about this book is the clear explanations and the author’s understanding of the material. I see why Robert and Kim Kiyosaki are fans of him, and now I am. I have read his Mr. Rickards’ book “The New Case for Gold”, to further understand the function of gold as money, and I plan on reading his entire list of books to further my knowledge and be proactive with my education, rather than be a victim of the next financial crisis.

Another Solid Book
Revisado: 11-26-20
Robert Kiyosaki has been one of my best mentors and always has something new to learn from. I find it interesting that I learn much from his books outside Rich Dad, Poor Dad. The learning does not stop.
What I enjoy about this book is how he shares much knowledge he obtains from his rich dad and poor dad, which is not in Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
This book is something that adds to my financial knowledge and for amount it costs, the ideas are priceless.

Historia
Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

Nice Sequel to The Shining, though it seems like Deus ex Machina
Revisado: 11-22-20
The story is definitely a different environment from The Shining, and it starts off very creepy, which is what I like about his book. He knows how to get you reeled into a story and hook you into it, similar to the prequel. The character development is excellent, and it has plenty of twists in it. Some of those twists made me “tap my head with the palm of my hand” (figuratively) and go “wow, I never thought about that or would have guessed it” multiple times. It is a very solid read; I read the book twice.
The one flaw I will say about the book is the deus ex machina at the end. I was afraid it would end as such. Maybe it did not intend to come off that way, and I am not a best-selling author like Stephen King yet, so I won’t tell him how to write a best-selling book. I was able to pick up the sudden shift in tone, and it seemed like deus ex machina to me.
Great read, very enjoyable.

Changed How I View Checklists
Revisado: 10-29-19
I wrote the book down after hearing Dr. Levin at UPenn orthopaedics at the Eastern Orthopaedic Association conference mention how he was able to do two bilateral hand transplants on the first attempt successfully from using checklists, whereas the first liver and kidney transplants done by Dr. Starzl and Dr. Murray had many deaths before they succeeded. That raised my eyebrows and got me interested in the book. This book makes me see the value of how checklists are applicable in many aspects of my life: treatment algorithms for my patients, waking up in the morning, and accomplishing a goal, such as building a tower, maybe even building a life. This book is so valuable as a tool to build an organization that I will listen to it again. Thank you Dr. Gawande, for taking the time to build the WHO checklist and to write this book for us to learn from. From a fellow MD to another, thank you. - Chukwuemeka Mbagwu, MD

In this must-listen book for anyone striving to succeed, pioneering psychologist Angela Duckworth shows parents, educators, students, and businesspeople - both seasoned and new - that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a focused persistence called "grit". Why do some people succeed and others fail? Sharing new insights from her landmark research on grit, MacArthur "genius" Angela Duckworth explains why talent is hardly a guarantor of success.

A Great Read Indeed
Revisado: 06-30-19
After listening to it a second time, I pick up a few more things that I missed the first time. For those who work hard, this is something that should resonate with you as it did for me. I have since shared this with my siblings whom I've been teaching by my example for my life. What Angela Duckworth has written and experienced is similar to me now, especially as I pursue orthopaedic surgery, a tough field in medicine. For those who are on the fence, I believe the book is more than worth the price.

You live in your dream house, but there's no mortgage. No alarm clock, no boss, no bills. No claims on the day's time other than what you choose. It is making more money before breakfast than you made for an entire week at your last job. It is a crazy expensive car parked in your garage, a victorious symbol that your dreams no longer sleep in fantasies, but are awake with reality.

Great, Just like the First One
Revisado: 04-12-19
I read The Millionaire Fastlane around 19 times or something like that. Unscripted adds new elements to it, and is another classic for MJ DeMarco. He spells things out, and if you read this, you'll have much of the information needed to take action today. For those who may not know, the Millionaire Fastlane is MJ DeMarco's first book, and it is a life-changing book. This book is more advanced, and if you read the Millionaire Fastlane, it'd make more sense. Overall, if you want to understand how to make your life unlike a typical script (work, save, invest, and maybe get rich 30 years later and have dead dreams) and want to hear from someone with actual experience into wealth and money, MJ DeMarco is one of the people to listen to. I highly recommend him, though he has no idea who I am, and would say to read the Millionaire Fastlane before this book. Overall, make a choice, because this book, if you take action, should change your life for the better. Meka
