Very Informative on Middle East Dynamics

Good mix of personal story and geopolitical action. Story line was good. The middle eastern accent by the narrator was horrendous as it sounds much more like a bad Asian accent. Plus, he doesn't do a good job of differentiating between characters speaking making it difficult to follow who is talking at times. Despite the below par narratoring, the story & information is compelling enough to continue listening. I do really like this author!

Simply the Best

I've been listening to this genre for about ten years and have listened to just about every accomplished author and narrator. This book takes the cake, it's the best of the best to which I've listened. Franklin is one of the best and I've listened to all of his series. His merging of two lead characters from two different series in this book was spectacular. And the fashion in which he did it, especially their actual meeting each other, was breathtaking. Kudos to Mr Horton for a fantastic book. An as usual, Kevin has no equal, tremendous job. I just listened to last Borrowed World book prior to this one, in which the Mad Mick was hinted at. It amazes me how Kevin could have these two lead characters conversing and each sound distinctively like they do in each of their own series. Not sure anyone else can do that.

Fantastic...Absolutely Fantastic!!!

So glad that C.A. chose to continue this series from Alan's perspective, didn't see it coming so it was a great delight! I was a little concerned when I first realized that the entire book appeared to be focused on him and his plight, but as the story and new characters developed it really engrossed me. I was also very happy how the last few chapters unfolded and to know that the story will continue. As always, Kevin was simply himself...the best! Can't wait for Indivisible!!!

Great Start to another Awesome series by Mark!!

Fantastic book on possibly the most likely scenario for a meltdown in today's world. So glad to see Stacey narratoring this, she's fantastic. Being a Christian, I love Mark's approach to spreading the gospel in a setting that many of the unprepared are likely to find themselves in. Keep it up mark!!!

Surprisingly Fantastic Trilogy!

Listening primarily to post-apocalyptic books, I wasn't too sure about this series going into it. However, the reviews were good and I love Stacey, she is fantastic! I was not disappointed. What a great concept for a fictional but not completely off-the-charts story. I'm not much of a sci-fi fan, but this seemed plausible in the distant future, still maintained an earthly connection and the characters were fantastic. Stacey does such a good job of giving each character their own voice that one can see each in their minds eye as to what they look like and they're facial expressions. This was my first Ramona Finn book and I will definitely check out her other work.

Cooper Armstrong reference....really??? Love it!!! lol Loved this series having a geology degree. One the things I love best about Bobby's work is that he does his homework!

Enter Yellowstone with Eyes Wide Open

While many may struggle to envision the U.S.A. being attached by N Korea, or a dooms day EMP or CME taking place, or even a wide-spread pandemic occurring, most should see the very real possibility of a Yellowstone disaster of global proportions. If they don't, they will after listening or reading the first book in Bobby's latest post-apocalyptic thriller series. Bobby's ability to write a fictional story based on factual places, history, people, etc with an entertaining cast of characters is second to none. Being from Texas, I really enjoyed his last Texas Series as well as his use of Texas in other books like the Blackout series. While I've never been to Yellowstone park, I worked in the oil field in parts of Wyoming and Montana in the early 80's doing frac work while obtaining a geology degree. So it was quite thrilling listening to information being presented with which I'm familiar while enjoying the development of the characters in book one. Bobby does such a great job researching his subject matter so that the information presented is accurate. This is such a real possibility of happening while the everyday person simply thinks it's not going to happen in their lifetime. Well it's going to happen in someone's lifetime, and it could play out quite similar to this. This is the first time I've listened to Chris Abernathy and he was quite good. Can't wait to see where book two takes us! Great job again Mr Akart!!

One of ther Best Post EMP series out there!

These books never disappoint. The realistic challenges faced along with the depth at which you get to know the characters creates and emotional ride that is enthralling! How & by whom Lauren & her friends are saved and what follows afterwards is fascinating. Her reunion with her former training buddies & their forward is incredible. It really takes one back to the experience of the earlier books. The writing plus the EXCELLENCE of Mr Pierce's narration renders a masterpiece!

Another Brad Thor masterpiece. I just love the faction, the reality and use of factual people, places and events couple with a fictional story that could just as easily become reality given the world we live in. I always love the twists that Brad throws in that you don't see coming...in this case...the ending!!! WTH!!!!

Ultimate Cliffhanger! Ugh!!!

The Lone Star Series just keeps getting better and better. From a Texan from the Panhandle, I can tell you that Bobby did his homework...not that this is a surprise. It just nice have an author be accurate on his setting project after project. Its going to be interesting to see how this plays out as it appears that the enemy has the upper hand. Is one of the characters from the Armstrong family going to be snuffed out? Can't wait for the next one to find out! Outstanding job Bobby!!!
