I have loved all the Longmire books except the last one which had such a ridiculous conclusion I was afraid to listen to this one...but was sooooo great. I missed Henry’s involvement and the rest of the normal cast but this book is a winner. Loved it and am bummed to wait another year for his next book.

Nelson DeMille is my favorite author so it's tough to write this review. I was looking forward to a new character but Mac is John Corey and Paul Brenner...same sarcasm, same ego, same inner monologue and the story reads far too similar to Up Country which is arguably my favorite DeMille book...foreign country, secret police, love interest that doesn't tell the truth etc. Overall I enjoyed it as I do all of his books but wouldn't rave about it.

My grandfather was one of the first soldiers into the concentration camps in Poland. He never spoke about his time in the war and now I am embarrassed at how little I actually know about the Holocaust. This book connects our present day to the Jewish experience in Poland in throughout Europe in an incredibly powerful and personal way. The author was certainly inspired to write this heart rending and powerful book. Thank you

I thought this could have been 2 or 3 books...The "missions" didn't tie well together. I loved getting a feel for what these guys o through and do on our behalf as part of our armed forces and am curious to see the movie. I would recommend this to a friend.

What disappointed you about The Columbus Affair?

Formula and cliche ...I felt like it was 1 part National Treasure 1 part Davinci Code and not the best parts of either

What do you think your next listen will be?

Not sure...I am kind of stuck..I read a ton and listen to a ton of audio books. Looking forward to Nelson DeMilles release in Sept.

What didn’t you like about Scott Brick’s performance?

Awesome...does a great job as always

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Columbus Affair?

I would probably skip the book all together
