I really enjoyed this book! I was able to do this is a book study with my teenage son and it was very helpful for not just me a seasoned believer, but also for him as he learns the heart and will of God in a deeper way.

Good perspective

This book will give you an interesting perspective. However it is a false Gospel that removes the cross of Jesus Christ and replaced it with universal “Truth”. If you are not a Christian this book maybes helpful practically, but ultimately it is The Lord who is our helper and not the “Divinity of ourselves”.
No disrespect is intentioned, it’s just for me, I had to filter out what did not align with the word of God. Basically, take the meat and spit out the bones with this book.

Not what I expected

When I buy an audiobook I love the attempts Yep probably speak to transcribe the format more perfectly into an audiobook. What I don’t like is when large portions of the books are cut out and a general statement about what the rest of the chapter says or details. I’d prefer that that section be read or narrated. The reason I use the audio book format for the sake of time I can read the book but I’m not always able to sit and read a book so I rely on audiobooks to fill that gap.
I did appreciate the audio recordings of Reagan meeting with Gorbachev and other key moments.

Would you consider the audio edition of Island of the Sequined Love Nun to be better than the print version?
This book was so fun to listen to! The characters come to life from the hand of Mr. Moore, but Oliver Wyman does a great job giving them a voice! I particularly loved the voice of "Kimmie the Navigator" This book does not drag in any chapter it is beat after beat of action and perfect story telling. This story may not be everyons cup of tea, but if you want to hear a funny story give it a try.
What did you like best about this story?
Oh man so many great parts. But I would say with out spoiling anything. When Vincent tells Malink to build the ladders and he does it on faith alone. Sort of like Noah.

Who was the most memorable character of Island of the Sequined Love Nun and why?
Hard to decide from Malink or Sarapul, but I would say Malink. He did well for the shark people. He trusted in Vincent.
