Historia
New edition, expanded and updated. With the release of Theory U almost 10 years ago, Otto Scharmer set in motion a revolution in thought. Scharmer explained that what we pay attention to and how we pay attention is key to what we create. What prevents us from attending to situations more effectively is that we aren't fully aware of and in touch with the inner place from which attention and intention originate.

Transformational ideas clearly conveyed
Revisado: 01-14-17
So many parts of the book were encouraging and timely. I want to share with a number of people to cultivate discussion around turning these ideas into reality in our cities, organizations and out personal lives.

A wealth of vital information brought to the heart
Revisado: 07-28-16
Would you listen to It Didn't Start with You again? Why?
I absolutely plan on listening again. There are activities and invitations to participate in the book that are guided and enforced with the accompanying PDF that will result in rich healing and growth. I listened the first time to get the overall viewpoint and was engaged through the entire book. I will go back and intentionally work each exercise, myself and may encourage others to do the same.
What did you like best about this story?
This book respected my story as a reader, challenged the more broken parts of my story with encouraging examples of other people's challenges and trauma and invited me into my own healing and transformation.
Have you listened to any of Mark Wolynn’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't listened to any other of Mark's books but will be on the look out for more of his work.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Profound more so than extreme. I had just completed a workshop the week before listening to this book and it continued the process of experiencing the trauma's of family members well beyond the 7 days that followed the workshop. I felt an entire spectrum of emotions, I was surprised at how many deep and longtime emotional responses were not even originated in me and my direct experience as well at the ease at which I was able to walk through them and leave them where they belong.
Any additional comments?
This book is an incredible work, created out of real experience. It invites us all to explore these experiences in our own lives so that we can know life and health in a way we have never known.
