The book is outstanding as all of her books are. Great tribu to have the women remembered.

I loved the book but I did not like that everyone died but I guess that was reality. I did not like that RYE lied to her but we needed that so she would end up with ? I will not ruin the ending. Lol. I always thought she would go to medical school and that her brother would be alive. There were a lot of gory details but I tried to listen more quickly to those.

Resilience at its best

Very interesting story. I have read many books about this time in history but it was more impressive to listen. It is horrendous to think the Ukrainians are again going through this and that history is repeating itself. When will the Russians learn not to inflict such devastation.
