Historia
Goodness, I have no idea what I'm doing. I’m a virgin attempting to write a romance novel and I'm having an impossible time trying to write a passionate and swoon-worthy love scene worthy of being published, thanks to my lack of experience...This is the story of my awkward, humiliating, and slightly terrifying life, but like all romance novels, I know it will end in a happily ever after. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Hilarious and Sweet
Revisado: 08-02-19
I have never laughed until I cried at an Audible book until now. This story will keep you entertained and laughing the entire way through.
The characters are truly lovable and interesting. The narrator helps you see the story and keeps it interesting.
If you like romantic comedy you will love this book.

Unexpected Plots and Twists
Revisado: 12-27-18
I started out not liking the story at first but once I really paid attention and learned more about Eden I really didn't want to stop listening. There are twists throughout the plot and the story slowly unravels to the truth and boy is it shocking.

Historia
Best-selling author Diane Chamberlain delivers a breakout book about a small southern town 50 years ago, and the darkest - and most hopeful - places in the human heart. After losing her parents, 15-year-old Ivy Hart is left to care for her grandmother, older sister, and nephew as tenants on a small tobacco farm. As she struggles with her grandmother’s aging, her sister’s mental illness, and her own epilepsy, she realizes they might need more than she can give. When Jane Forrester takes a position as Grace County’s newest social worker, she doesn’t realize just how much her help is needed.

Great Characters
Revisado: 12-27-18
I love how the writer gives you two perspectives, the one of Ivy and the other of Jane. If they would never have met both of their lives would not have turned out like they did.

Historia
Suburbia. Shady, tree-lined streets; well-tended lawns; and cozy homes. A nice, quiet place to grow up. Unless you are teenage Meg or her crippled sister, Susan. On a dead-end street, in the dark, damp basement of the Chandler house, Meg and Susan are left captive to the savage whims and rages of a distant aunt who is rapidly descending into madness. It is a madness that infects all three of her sons and finally the entire neighborhood. Only one troubled boy stands hesitantly between Meg and Susan and their cruel, torturous deaths.

Very Black Plot
Revisado: 12-11-18
Started this book and didn't know if I could get through it, but I had to know what happened at the end so I made it to the end. This is a tale about the depravity of some and the breakdown of a justice system. It is set in the 50's when children were more property than anything else and it is very hard to listen to the things that happen in this book. I am no saint and do not believe in the ways of today's "snowflake" children, but this story is way beyond horrifying.
