I love all of the Whiskey series books! And, this one was no exception! So, who’s the next one going to be about? I think it should be Birdie!!

The story-line in the 1st two books was so predictable they were boring. Things were a little better in books 3 & 4. If I’d paid for this 4 book set I’d have been upset. Also, the narrative was horrible!

123 - Sart listening!

This one took a twist at the end that I never saw coming! I spent all day Sunday listening so I could find out what was going to happen!!

I love the narrators; they are the best out there! Their voices match the chars you built.

The narrators did not do justice to the characters. Otherwise, a terrific story. All the emotions - laugh, cry, happy & sad are there. The twist in the story is not expected!

Tucker & Emma

Having read so many books the plot is usually the same - boy meets girl; become a couple; get torn apart & find their way back together. The difference with this book is the wit the author portrays. The characters seem like real people with real names!

The second thing that I loved about this book was the narrator(s). Their voice inflections & tones & changing to sound like a different person was the best narration I’ve ever heard!

Pick this book up and get lost in the world if Emma & Tucker for a weekend. Pour that glass of wine, settle down in the bubble bath - or rock on the porch enjoying the weather- and listen to this one. You will have an enjoyable time!!

This was a terrific story! Sweet, funny and, yes, sappy! There should be a book 2 to go thru their marriage, dog & kids!!

Mr Dark - the series

In #4 the performance was horrible! The narrator continually repeated sentences or phrases. Sometimes the repeat was just once, others you heard the same thing 2 or 3 times before he moved on to what was next.
The story was good, kept me hanging a few times. But, what I don't like is authors who write 1-2 paragraphs & call it a book instead of the chapter it is. There are currently 5 in this series (6-7) hours of listening & you still don't know how it ends!! Money-hungry much?!

His Angel

The story of Angeline & Drake was my companion over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The story was entertaining & kept my attention. Good thing I didn't have any visitors!

I did not care for the narrator. His voice was strong enough to equal the strong description of Drake & his men. Also, the voice used for Angeline made me think of a simpleton, not the strong woman that she was!!!! This is why the overall is so low.

I loved the story and the characters. Unfortunately, I did not like the voices used to tell the story. When he used the voice that was supposed to be sexy/aroused it sounded like someone was tired & had been screaming.

I truly enjoyed the entire series & look forward to additional tales of McCade Taggert. What happened on the last mission?
