Once again Penelope Ward has written another great one. I’m always fascinated how she deviates from The norm with her interesting twists and turns in her books yet she pieces everything together into one neat story all wrapped up like a package under the Christmas tree! Good on you, Penelope! Can’t wait for “The drummers heart !”

I listen to several audiobooks a week. Being the consummate romantic I am I lean towards romance stories! I can’t praise Penelope Ward’s writing enough. Her words and how she presents her characters hearts go in and grab your heart and squeeze. Every book of hers that I have listened to has made me cry at some point in the story. She has a tender, endearing, loving heart. I believe That the path an author has taken in their life is reflected in their writing. Every story has some drama, some comedy and lots of romance… Right up my alley. I look forward to the next journey, Penelope! Thank you for showing us your heart!

Sniff sniff... I just finished reading "Beautiful mistake". What a beautiful story -- I'm still crying. So many of us go through traumas as young children and there is always someone that touches your heart for some reason or another. If we're Lucky when we grow up we get to reconnect with that person. That's what this story is about. The story is beautifully written and I highly recommend reading it! Thank you Miss Keeland, this one really touched me!!

The personalities of Max and Harper are so real that I found myself thinking how much I would behave the same way as Harper and Max, at times, as well! I really enjoyed this story! It was raw, pure, touching, maddening and sexy as hell! It'll give it a second and third listen! Andi and Sebastian are great story tellers! I thoroughly enjoy their dynamics!

British character without the accent?

I am very excited about the continuation of the Boudreaux family in Nola. Before I purchase an audible book I read the reviews and a lot of people complained about the lack of the British accent of the main male character in this book. That really didn't bother me because the reviews on the storyline were very good and I have loved all of the Boudreaux series so far. I just came back from a trip to New Orleans and saw a lot of the things that were mentioned in the book and had a feel for that part of the country and it really help me to appreciate the storyline a lot more. As far as the British accent being a problem with main character ... in my estimation Sebastian York could make the phonebook sound sexy so knowing full well that he was the male narrator in the story compelled me to buy it! He and Rachel are a great team and I hope the writer keeps them on for the next two books! I'm very anxious to read about Bo and Mallory and hopefully Savannah and Ben!!
