Historia
Having survived their journey into the Dark Heart, Arthur and his dragon, Brixaby, have a new goal: complete their Legendary card sets. Unfortunately, the next Legendary card is locked away in Blood Moon, a hive with a reputation for chaos, lawlessness, scourgling eruptions, and—rumor has it—dedicated dragon hunters. Still, Arthur and his retinue feel they have little to fear. Then again, they also don't have much knowledge of what actually lies ahead.

Clearly a money grab/filler.
Revisado: 04-19-25
The author has clearly realized the core concept of the story will lead to the end of the story far sooner than her wallet can allow. Seems to be common place in fantasy when MC is given an OP ability. Story progression comes to a screeching halt because to advance it means to finish the story, and we can’t have that. At least try to make the filler a bit more entertaining.

Stupid and cliche ending.
Revisado: 03-01-25
The ending just ruins the whole book. Just overtly cliche and incredibly plot convenient. You already have an OP main character, you don’t need to pull a bad stunt like this to redeem a character who has shown no remorse for his actions prior. It’s just bad writing and ruins a perfectly good story.

A poor excuse of a book.
Revisado: 02-25-25
It’s obvious the author has written herself into a corner and has no clue how to advance the plot. Introducing demons who are far too powerful for humans means that the majority of the side characters are useless as is the empire we spent so much time building the last few books. The elves whose duty is to fight the demons apparently don’t care and have let a human born elf possessed by a demon do as he wants for nearly a year without any sign of wanting to put an end to it. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if AI wrote this and the author is just cashing checks with how many inconsistencies plague the story and how chaotic the flow and progression is. You would think Rezkin letting everyone think he was dead would motivate his friends and followers to step up and fill the hole he left behind, but instead they’re all portrayed as blind sheep clueless to what they need to do if Rezkin isn’t there to guide them. And the forced romance subplots are just dumb. These characters have no chemistry together and their “love” for each other is as hollow as the plot of this story.

Nothing happens
Revisado: 01-01-25
Boring and uninspired. The card system feels uninteresting and irrelevant for most of the books. Almost like the author wrote a normal story and then added it in afterwards to fit a specific genre. A good author could have had this entire book be no more than 5 chapters but this author clearly doesn’t have much scope for the story and is just over extending it. Even slice of life is more interesting than this trash.

Historia
During his first year at the Ephemeral Academy, Cam grew far in his Ephemeral Mastery, becoming a person of significance. The eyes of the mighty are now upon him, and they promise him wealth and even marriage into their houses should he offer them loyalty. Yet Cam has other concerns. He no longer trusts his sponsor, Rainen Winder—the Wilde Sage—whose usage of Cam and his friends has seen them almost die on too many occasions. A dilemma exists, however, because breaking with the Wilde Sage will also result in Cam's expulsion from the academy.

Very little pay off for the amount of build up and the mc is constantly being sidelined watching as others fight for him. Its very frustrating.

Historia
In pursuit of his abusive father’s approval, Zeke Blackwood pushed himself to the very pinnacle of his chosen obsession. Since childhood, all he’d ever wanted to do was play baseball, and through hard work, discipline, and no small degree of talent, his goal of reaching the major leagues was finally in sight. But then a horrific car accident ruined his arm, eliminating any hope of a professional baseball career. Consumed by depression, Zeke gave up on his future, preferring to wallow in self-pity. That is, until an opportunity came along for him to prove his worth.

Super easy, barely an inconvenience
Revisado: 07-18-23
It seems like the author wrote himself into a corner and didn’t know how to properly end the story so he just had the MC kill the bad guys with little to no effort. All that build up and the final two fights were pretty much “super easy, barely an inconvenience” moments.

Just amazing…
Revisado: 05-20-23
Just amazing how quickly this book killed off all momentum of the series and my interest for continuing it. The second half of the book is just an utter piece of garbage. I have never skipped so many chapters in a book out of pure boredom and the hope that the next chapter would finally kick off the story that I originally fell in love with. But it never did and it just kept getting worse and worse. Just amazing.
