Historia
It’s been a minute since listeners last sat down with Tiffany Haddish. Since The Last Black Unicorn, Haddish has catapulted to A-List fame as the breakout star of Girls Trip. She’s walked the Oscars red carpet, released a hit stand-up special with Netflix, and made history as the first black female comedian to host Saturday Night Live and Shark Week.

Compelling book
Revisado: 04-17-25
I enjoyed Tiffany's last book, The Black Unicorn. She tells it like it is no holds barred. I am grateful to Tiffany for opening up and sharing what she has gone through in her life from family, relationships, career. Celebrities are just like ordinary people the only difference is that they have more money due to their careers. I can relate to some of the stories that Tiffany has shared and how she has been able to overcome these challenges and move forward is an inspiration for others. I am happy I am not alone in making some stupid mistakes. Tiffany is funny and this comes through in how she narrates her stories. I laughed while I was listening to the audio. Thank you, Tiffany, for sharing your story. I enjoyed this audiobook as well as the Black Unicorn. You are a beautiful, amazing, talented woman. Keep shining bright like the diamond that you are. Love you.

Historia
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

Beautiful memoir
Revisado: 04-19-24
I enjoyed listening to this memoir by Tiffany Haddish. When she shared her stories about her relationships with men and what she went through, how she dealt with it it made me feel I was not alone because I can relate to her stories especially where she took back men even though they treated her bad. The reasons Tiffany gave for doing this are legit reasons. It is very hard to leave and sometimes you honestly do not know how. Her reason as well for caring about the man and really trying to make the relationship work I can relate to that as that was my reason for taking the shit with someone I was involved in. He ditched me over the weekend and I am glad it is over because I honestly did not want to end it. I wanted to see it through but God knows best, realized this and helped me to get out of the situation. Tiffany's stories are straight from the soul I loved the way she tells her stories with lots of humor. I feel like I have gotten to know Tiffany as a person through this story. I enjoy watching her act on movies. She is an amazing, beautiful, talented actress I loved watching her in Girls Trip. I watch that movie over and over. Tiffany thank you for writing this memoir it is comforting to me as I try to pick up the pieces of my broken heart. You are a blessing dearie never forget that.

Historia
On the eve of the 2012 Grammy Awards, the world learned of a stunning tragedy: Whitney Houston, unquestionably one of the most remarkable and powerful voices in all of music, had been silenced forever. Over the weeks and months that followed, family, friends, and fans alike tried to understand how such a magnificent talent and beautiful soul could have been taken so early and so unexpectedly. Honest and heartbreaking, this is a mother's story of tears, joy, and her greatest love of all: her daughter, Whitney.

Beautiful story
Revisado: 08-28-23
This audible is a beautiful story about Whitney Houston's life from birth to stardom. From the perpective of her mom, the reader gets a deep insight into who Whitney was behind the spotlight, the struggles she dealt with and her mom's unconditional love to always stand by her daughter and to intervene during the most critical time in her daughter's life. A very powerful, emotional story and a must read.

Great Read
Revisado: 06-07-23
I enjoyed listening to this audible as it gives an insight into who Michael Jackson was from his brother's perspective. It helped me to better understand, love and respect the man Michael is. Michael was a creative, innovative, talented singer and it shows in his lyrics, the music videos, dance moves and the story or message that lies behind some of the songs. I can relate to Michael being a private person. He had no choice but to do this to safeguard himself and the ones he loved. He was a loving man who loved children and gived away his money so willingly to charities. He was a child in a man's body as was stated in his book. Like everyone else, Michael just wanted to be a good person who wanted to do good things in his life. He was not perfect but he always strived to be the best he could be. His memory would live on forever. Thank you Jermaine for sharing your insights about Michael with the world. I appreciate it. Love to all of you.

Historia
What happens when you put a non-criminal and one of the world's top experts in personal growth into one of the toughest prisons in the UK? In 2017, that's exactly what happened to Peter Sage when, during a civil matter, he was found in contempt of court. What unfolded next has become a master class in how to turn adversity to your advantage. The Inside Track is the collection of 11 private letters that Peter sent to his elite coaching groups throughout his six-month sentence. Written in a conversational style, each one breaks down the actual tools, techniques and insights he uses and shows you how to face any problem from a place of power, not force.

Life Changing Book
Revisado: 11-11-22
The Inside Track is a wonderful tool you can have to help you overcome adversity in life by utilizing the insights Peter discusses in the book. It helps you to be even more grateful for what you have in life and not complain too much about your situation. If you think you have it bad, there is always someone out there worse off than you as the saying goes. I love this audible version because Peter is the narrator and there are special sound effects that are used to enhance the story which you would not be able to obtain if you have the hard copy book. The story helps the reader to have more understanding and empathy towards the prison system and how it is being run which unfortunately is on a tight budget and therefore is not given the necessary resources to enhance the service, infrastructure and environment. Of course there are some negative things about prison life as well which Peter shares but it is nothing that is out of the ordinary. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is on the personal development journey. Peter is a genuine person who wants to share what he has learned in this industry so that person can become better versions of themselves and be able to cope with life better. Thanks for writing this book Peter I love it. Blessings to you.
