A Must Read
Revisado: 05-26-22
Excellent. Keeps the story constantly building toward an unexpected twist as it comes to an end. It certainly keeps you wanting more, not to disappoint #2 is ready to continue the thread of Harper's search for her mother's killer. Introduces new characters and a new thriller ready to keep you up all night. Fortunately this book keeps the same awesome narrator.

Too much profanity!
Revisado: 01-08-22
I cannot complete this book. I kept hoping as the Progressed that the profanity would decrease. The opposite occurred. It's not just the F word and other Profanities and obscenities but also using the names of God and Jesus with other curse words overpowered the development of both the characters and the storyline.
As a professional writer I would suggest that it would be profitable for this person to read some good literature. There are times when profanity and obscenities are used in ways to enhance the story line and helps to shape the characters. An example of this would be Shawshank Redemption.

What a great book!
Revisado: 10-12-21
I Love this book Because it was a reflection of the values that we used to have maybe 50 years ago. It was such a relief to go through an entire Book and not hear the F....... bomb even once. I'll certainly look for more books by this author.

Sixty-four years ago, Susannah Morgan managed to flee the horrors of the Holocaust. But the memories of that childhood ordeal have proven impossible to sweep away. I said, she said, he said
Revisado: 05-11-18
Somewhere beneath the exasperating dialogue always punctuated with - he said, she said or I said there might be a passable book. The constant repetition of unnecessary pronouns followed by said, makes this listen an exercise in self-inflicted torture.

Great Story, Gripping From the First Page
Revisado: 06-11-17
What would have made What Doesn't Kill Her better?
This author assumes that the use F--K every other word is how main stream adults talk. I would have loved to finish this listen; but the language was filth.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger that a good story line was ruined by such prolific and unnecessary filth.
