The was wroste book of the series!

The narration and performance of this book was horrible! I forced myself to listen only to conclude the series. For the listed reasons, I will not recommend the trilogy to anyone. I wish I could get a refund.

Good audiobook! A little wordy in some chapters.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and the performance. In some of the chapters the build-up to the scene / action was too wordy. This was the case in one of the earlier books too. However, that's no reason to skip the book.

Sadly disappointed in this story and performance

I've listen to Thrawn and Trakin and numerous outer audio-books (narrated by Marc Thompson) and enjoyed the stories and performances; however, I was disappoint in this book! Thrawn was overbearing and Dark Vader was portrayed as an uninformed underlying in the story. The voice of Darth Vader was totally out of character for his image and past appearances. He sounded like a guy with a sore throat. Vader was being led around by Thrawn like a green lieutenant. Vader has always being portrayed as a smart and capable leader. This story mad Darth Vader seem inept...

I enjoyed this book immensely. Read this before the "Thrawn Trilogy" to get a better understanding of the Admiral.
