Good anti abortion story.
Revisado: 05-19-20
Being pro life, it is a good and also a sad book. It pretty well describes what is happening in today's world that kills 3 million babes per year. Good job Ms. Rivers.

Historia
In the compelling conclusion to the New York Times best-seller Her Mother’s Hope, Christy Award-winning author Francine Rivers explores the sorrow that can tear families apart and the grace that can heal the deepest wounds. Just as Carolyn had formed a stronger bond with her Oma Marta than with her mother, so Carolyn’s daughter is drawn to her grandma more than to a mom who’s caught up in the 1960s counterculture....

This is a good study of the abortion issue. For those of us who are pro life, we sit on the sidelines cheering for the babes saved, and booing for the one(s) lost.

Interesting interruption of these 5 women
Revisado: 05-19-20
The book mostly follows the Bible. The last book, about Mary, is the weak point. The time frame at the end sounds like the last three years of Yeshua's life only lasted a few months. Also, all through the book there are phrases and sentences repeated to the point that it was distracting to me. This is the editor's mistake probable. I will tell friends that they should read or hear it, and for those who also buy audio books to be ready for these repeats.

Don't bother with this book
Revisado: 10-16-19
I can't believe Robyn Carr wrote this book, The plot is trite and the narration is lacking, the authoritative voice is irrating. Had I listened to this book as a first Robyn Carr book, it would have been the last one of her books I would have bought.

Saddest book I've ever listened to
Revisado: 06-12-19
I listened to his first two books and then saw the movies, they were great! However, I saw the movie first with this book. Had I listened to the book, I never would have gone to the movie. The movie was much more positive and everything turns out as you hope it does. The first two books were uplifting, however, this book is a real downer with things that CJ does and the ending, well I cried for over 2 hours after listening to it. Sorry I couldn't give this book the high ratings I did his first two dog books.

Narration is so bad
Revisado: 03-15-19
The book sounded interesting from the description. However, I can't even get through the second chapter because of the narration. Soooooo phony dramatic and almost stoping between words. Not worth my time at all. It's like finger nail cratching on a chalkboard. I'm returning this book ASAP.

So so at best
Revisado: 03-14-19
The story line was very predictable. The narration was so bad. Why do they hire narrators who try to be dramatic? It is so irritating and phony. Really can't recommend this book. The reviews were good, but didn't find anything to make it above below average, and the narration could have made it a much better listen.
