Historia
Once upon a time, a historical romance author created a family.... But not just any family. Eight brothers and sisters, assorted in-laws, sons and daughters, nieces and nephews (not to mention an overweight corgi), plus an irrepressible matriarch who's a match for any of them.... These are the Bridgertons: less a family than a force of nature. Through eight best-selling novels, listeners laughed, cried, and fell in love. But they wanted more.

Variation of characters a bit off…
Revisado: 07-31-24
The Bridgerton stories are a lot of fun and second epilogues are as well - and that’s coming from someone who prefers the horror genre over romance, (relationships are far scarier than ghosts and zombies). For the most part, this audiobook is decent. As a voice actor myself, I get having different voices for all the characters, but, the most distracting for me is the variation assigned to Colin Bridgerton, who in this reading sounds more like a much older gentleman that is quite possibly possessed by a demon.

Historia
Bob Odenkirk’s career is inexplicable. And yet he will try like hell to explicate it for you. Charting a “Homeric” decades-long “odyssey” from his origins in the seedy comedy clubs of Chicago to a dramatic career full of award nominations - with a side trip into the action-man world that is baffling to all who know him - it’s almost like there are many Bob Odenkirks! But there is just one and one is plenty. Featuring humorous tangents, wild characters, and Bob’s trademark unflinching drive, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is a classic tale told by a determined idiot.

What I expected (and hoped) from Bob Odenkirk and more….
Revisado: 06-13-24
You know how you see people and suspect who and how they really are? For me, this confirmed all I dig about this optimistically snarky “actor” who is truly a writer at heart. I’m not sure how many others will find his gloriously optimistic
cynicism and humbleness relatable, but this chica did, very much so. I love the honesty - it sheds light and gives balance that so many of us need. I’m just really glad I’m not alone in my cynical honesty and snarkiness and that such a person can overcome the odds, find their way to success and still remain somewhat grounded. If he tricked us into thinking he’s grounded, well done sir. Well done.
Also, really LOVED the Trump snippets…. You can say everything by saying very little.

Historia
Twenty years ago, a boy named Jack Sawyer traveled to a parallel universe called the Territories to save his mother and her “Twinner” from an agonizing death that would have brought cataclysm to the other world. Now Jack is a retired Los Angeles homicide detective living in the nearly nonexistent hamlet of Tamarack, Wisconsin. He has no recollection of his adventures in the Territories....

The thing about anything Stephan King has a hand in, has a knack for being ridiculously interesting, even what you don’t really care about. Peter Straub with him makes for a fantastic story.
