Never gets to the point
Revisado: 08-29-20
What an annoying book, the author literally just rambles on for hours pointlessly. If you decide to waste your life with this book (which I am sure a high performer would never do), be prepared to skip most of it.

Historia
Fanatical Prospecting gives salespeople, sales leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives a practical, eye-opening guide that clearly explains the why and how behind the most important activity in sales and business development: prospecting. The brutal fact is that the number one reason for failure in sales is an empty pipe, and the root cause of an empty pipeline is the failure to consistently prospect.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Some good points, but I didn't enjoy "listening" to it.
What could Jeb Blount have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Should have used a voice artist... the lisp was really distracting and cringy...
Would you be willing to try another one of Jeb Blount and Jeremy Arthur ’s performances?
no
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
no

Historia
Entrepreneurs often suffer from "superhero syndrome" - the misconception that to be successful, they must do everything themselves. They are not only the boss but also the salesperson, HR manager, copywriter, operations manager, online marketing guru, and so much more. It's no wonder so many people give up the dream of starting a business - it's just too much for one person to handle. But outsourcing expert and "Virtual CEO" Chris Ducker knows how you can get the help you need with resources you can afford.

Infomercial for the author's VA Sevices

Any additional comments?
Returning this book because unless you're a COMPLETE novice to the world of VAs, you'll learn nothing new.
The book is really repetetive and is one big infomercial for the author's VA service sites.

Historia
Find your "critical 20%" and transform your time - and life - forever! The 80/20 principle - also known as the Pareto principle - is the well-verified observation that in business, economics, and life generally, about 80 percent of all results flow from a mere 20 percent of our efforts. In this thought-provoking and highly informative program, Richard Koch unveils the secrets to how this mysterious but practical principle actually works... how it is affecting your life right now... and how you can start using it to your advantage.

80% Repetetive
Revisado: 01-17-16
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The book could have been 30 minutes long. It's 80% rambling about the same thing over and over just to fill time. Already knew the 80/20 concept and didn't learn anything new with this book.
What could Richard Koch have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Have someone else narrate it.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
boredom.
