The narrator is horrible!
Revisado: 02-23-22
I hate to speak ill of others, and I know she tried, but this narrator is horrible! Can she speak a whole sentence without her pausing and splitting up one sentence into 3 parts? Acting skills weren't on par either. I just truly cannot get into the story nor go any further in this book solely due to the narrator. I tried. I'm going to ask for a refund.

Slow & steady
Revisado: 02-08-22
The story plot unraveled painfully slow and the ending wasn't much better. I wish I spent these several hours listening to a more interesting audiobook.

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Good read!

This, book kept me interested from beginning to end. The plot was very interesting and it had me guessing who was the real villan of this story...which my guesses kept changing ad the story progressed. My guess was wrong. Lol. I definitely enjoyed the ending (which I won't give away, but one word comes to mind). The narrator gave an excellent performance. I'm glad I purchased this book. I recommend it.

Narrator makes it impossible for me to listen
Revisado: 08-12-21
This story is about two young couples on there honeymoon. Why do they have a old, snobish sounding woman telling the story? I can't listen to this. I can't get past the first chapter because of the narrator. She sounds like a grandmother who should be reading childrens stories.

Revisado: 08-09-21
I can't bear to listen to the narrators voice because it irritates me so much. Her voice sounds like a cross between a teenager and a very elderly woman. Not to mention her acting is horrible. This may be a good story, but I'll never find out.

GREAT STORY!! WILD ENDING!!!
Revisado: 03-09-17
Where does Behind Her Eyes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
As far as audiobooks go, I've listened to more than 103 books to date. To date this is definitely one of the best books I've listened to or read. I rank Behind Her Eyes in my top 5 of the audiobooks I've listened to. And all of the narrators were awesome!
What other book might you compare Behind Her Eyes to and why?
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn; The Girl Before by J.P. Delaney; No Longer Safe by A.J. Wines; Girl On A Train by A.J. Waines; Line of Vision by David Ellis. I would compare this book to them because of the suspense it keeps you in throughout the entire story and for the unexpected, unimaginable and very creative ending.
Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?
I enjoyed Adele & Louise the most.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE TURN THIS STORY INTO A FILM!!! I would use the tag line "INNER ME" or "YOU FOR ME, ME FOR YOU" or "ETERNAL OBSESSION."
Any additional comments?
I extremely enjoyed the book from the beginning to end but the ending had me astounded!! My draw dropped! I was like GTFOOH!! I would have never imagined the reality and truth of what really happened unless the author broke it down the way she did. The way Sarah Pinborough threw us for a loop and then ties it in all together makes this a phenomenal book!
