This series is just as great as Sullivan’ first series. Narrator is one who brings the story to life adding depth to the characters.

This series was well written and produced exceptionally well too. If you enjoy chronological reading start with Keeper Origins trilogy. They are independent trilogies however there is references to the origins set in this one that enriched the story.

Slow start great book

The story is a bit slow at first but when it picks up you realize that it was done to lay a good foundation. Off to start book two immediately.

This trilogy is unique and refreshing to read and listen to. The plots took unexpected turns while staying true to the undercurrent of the characters as the grew to adulthood. Best from Nora Roberts ever!

One of my favorites

I have really enjoyed this series and how Thea weaves the characters through it both primary and supporting cast. This one I have to say is so far one of my favorites in the series it puts closure on some events in prior books and the beginning allows the author to bring back a different time in more detail than other books. Hope you enjoy it for me I’m off to listen the next book the short story about Liam and keep going.

Great narrator

The narrators of the first two novels were not really what I was expecting for this series, if I hadn’t already read and loved the books I wouldn’t have continued with the rest. This books narrator was excellent she did the different voices for the characters just right for their personality. So glad she is doing the rest of the series.

If you could sum up Outlander in three words, what would they be?

Exciting, intriguing and suspenseful

What was one of the most memorable moments of Outlander?

When Claire shares with Jamie after the witch trials.

Which character – as performed by Davina Porter – was your favorite?

Claire I think her voice and intonations of how she presents her is spot on to what one would imagine her to be like.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No - with over 30 hours that wouldn't be possible; however I do find myself wanting to get back to it often.

Any additional comments?

This is an excellent series; I've read all of the books and am thoroughly enjoying listening to them on tape. The plot takes un-expected twists and turns that you can't anticipate making you always wanting to hear what will happen next. I highly recommend the series.
