I listen to this book as a kid my mom had gotten it on audio tape. I remember the story and everything that happened in the book but as an adult, the message just hits differently. Thank you for the story.

And 1 complaint only. James Marsters is a wonderful narrator so much that people complained when he didn’t narrate ghost story he re did it. But seriously Jotun is not pronounced ‘Jatune’ its said ‘Yo-tun’ like Jotunheim. It really is annoying. Love the story but for the one part its really good.

Seriously, is it the mix? Or is it the narrator. It sounds like she needed a tissue the whole time, and was highly distracting. Story was good. Character is a little immature but she is young so I guess thats okay.

I have listened to the Pendragon series narrated by him. Its a better series for him to narrate. I do not like the way he did this one it is awful.

Great continuation to the brother band chronicles series. The narration was superb as usual. This is a great young adult adventure story. I recommend the first book in the series to start. But it's not necessary to have listened to the ranger apprentice books.
