Historia
Heartbreak Is the National Anthem: How Taylor Swift Reinvented Pop Music is the first book that goes deep on the musical and cultural impact of Taylor Swift. Nobody can tell the story like Rob Sheffield, the bestselling and award-winning author of Dreaming the Beatles, On Bowie, and Love Is a Mix Tape. The legendary Rolling Stone journalist is the writer who has chronicled Taylor for every step of her long career, from her early days to the Eras Tour. Sheffield gets right to the heart of Swift and her music, her lyrics, her fan connection, her raw power.

What he said about Taylor
Revisado: 12-19-24
My perfect walking and crazy holiday traffic companion. Finished this audio book in a flash. Rob Sheffield chronicled Taylor's journey perfectly. This confirms why i agree that Taylor is a genius especially with her songs and albums... but also that she is just a human being and woman who gets hurt, frustrated and misunderstood.

Perfect story, perfect reading. worth more than 1 credit! This is why I love Autobiography books in audible especially if it's read by the author themselves. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I listen to audio books when I'm driving, this is one of the best driving companions I've had. it's always a plus for me that the author is also the voice of the audio book. Simu Liu is a very good story teller and his story is both inspiring and relatable.

Insightful and Entertaining
Revisado: 01-15-22
I'm very new to audio books and this is my 3rd audible. The books itself was well written in my humble opinion. For reader it was great to get insights about the life of Will Smith, how he grew up, how his life, his family, his relationships made him who he is. It's in a way comforting to know as well that he is just as human as us and that he has struggles he had to deal with... in the end he just had to find his way and his peace. the bonus points this being in audible is the storytelling. I wonder now what would be my experience if I read the hard copy... would I have the same wonderful experience. hearing Will Smith tell his story, was an added bonus. I'll recommend this book ❤
