Historia
Being an unwanted twin in the Imperial line of succession, Farilane became a scholar, adventurer, and in a time when reading was once more forbidden—a book hunter. Her singular obsession is finding the mythical Book of Brin, a tome not just lost but intentionally buried. Respected and beloved by the Teshlor Knights, not even their legendary skills can protect her for what she finds is more dangerous than what she sought.

I am done with this author
Revisado: 08-02-24
His first two series had happy endings. Those that followed had depressing endings. I will no longer no invest time slogging through his books only to disappointed at the conclusion.

Better than last book
Revisado: 06-28-24
After the last book I was thinking about giving up on the series. With this book the author made a comeback. However, it needs better editing. The mispronouncing of oriented as orientated is annoying .

Edna needs to go away
Revisado: 01-17-23
The stories are good, but Edna’s flaunting her love affairs is in front of the MC who she knows loves her is cruel. If she won’t leave, I will. This was my last purchase.

Disappointing waste of time and money
Revisado: 06-17-20
Those who expect another Rhyria will get a sub par effort and then be treated to one the most unfulfilling endings of of any book I have read. I will give Sullivan another chance, but if his next book isn’t better I am banning him from my library.

Historia
The Second World War lasted for 2,174 days, cost $1.5 trillion, and claimed the lives of more than 50 million people. Why did the Axis lose? And could they, with a different strategy, have won? Andrew Roberts's acclaimed new history has been hailed as the finest single-volume account of this epic conflict. From the western front to North Africa, from the Baltic to the Far East, he tells the story of the war - the grand strategy and the individual experience, the cruelty and the heroism - as never before.

Great performance and story
Revisado: 12-18-15
What made the experience of listening to The Storm of War the most enjoyable?
Rodska does the various accents to perfection. I don't agree with of the reviewers who thought it was distracting or irritating. I think it is risky to do this, but he pulls it off. The listener will just to decide for themselves.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Not really relevant question for a non-fiction book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No
Any additional comments?
I have read a lot books on WWII. While quite a lot of the content was familiar there was a enough new or a new perspective to make it worth listening to. I think Roberts struck a good balance between the individual stories and the bigger picture.
