Historia
His passport read Giovanni Rossi. But decades ago, during the Urban Wars, he was part of a small, secret organization called The Twelve. Responding to an urgent summons from an old compatriot, he landed in New York and eased into the waiting car. And died within minutes… Lieutenant Eve Dallas finds the Rossi case frustrating. She’s got an elderly victim who’d just arrived from Rome; a widow who knows nothing about why he’d left; an as-yet unidentifiable weapon; and zero results on facial recognition.

July 1912. Lady Hardcastle and her tenacious lady’s maid, Florence Armstrong, are enjoying a convivial gathering at the home of their dear friends, the Farley-Strouds. The only fly in the idyllic ointment seems to be the lack of musical entertainment for the forthcoming summer party—until, that is, Lady Hardcastle’s brother Harry calls with news of a murder.

For four very different women, winning the competition would present a crucial chance to change their lives.

Historia
Berebury golf course in the county of Calleshire is an unlikely place for a murder. Set in pleasant landscape and boasting a splendid view of the town of Berebury, the golf course is more situated to fun and games than murder and mayhem. So when flirtatious golfing beginner Helen Ewell goes in search of a wayward golf ball in the dreaded "Hell's Bells" bunker she is not prepared for the horrible surprise that lies buried beneath the soft sand.

The best Lady H book yet!
Revisado: 11-06-19
I throughly enjoyed Death Beside the Seaside. It can be read as a stand alone if you haven’t read the other Lady Hardcastle books, but then you will want more and read the others. While the story takes place in a small hotel, it has that Country House feel to it. The twists and turns were fun. Elizabeth Knowelden does an outstanding narration.

Disappointing
Revisado: 09-06-19
I love this series, but while this one had good moments, the story was stale. She did one very similar not too many books ago.
The last 2 Nora Roberts stand alone have been fabulous which makes this more disappointing.

Thoroughly enjoyable mystery
Revisado: 08-06-19
This book was delightful. I loved the location (Austin, Texas) and the characters. Lucy Lancaster is a genealogist who uncovers a murder in the past. Once this is made public things spiral out of control. Filled with fun secondary characters and life in Austin it is a fun read. I highly recommend it and am looking forward to the next Lucy Lancaster mystery.

A good start....but
Revisado: 08-06-19
I liked the beginning of this book but it just became unbelievable. Ms Coulter loves to have a psychic twist to the FBI series and usually it works. This one didn't for me. I don't want to go into detail as I don't want to give away parts of the plot. I don't want to be too negative as I love Sherlock & Savich and will continue to buy Ms Coutlers books. I just didn't like this one as much as some of the others. I have read every one of the FBI series. This book had different narrators and I liked them very much.
