Great story once you get into it.

For me it was a rough start getting through the introduction of characters. However, once the story transitioned the main plotline was very enjoyable and the narrator did an excellent job. I enjoy the military influence in the author's writing and hope he continues writing fantasy books. Looking forward to getting into the sulfurous book 2.

Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the rest of the trilogy. The time compression bothered me in the beginning since it hits a point that sort of defies physics, but allowing for a little suspension of disbelief I ended up really enjoying this book.

Decent story, and Nick Podehl did a great job narrating (as always). I wish it was a little longer and that there was more depth. The character development is a little lack luster for me but as always it's subjective. If you love litrpg, with all of its tropes and follies, then you will enjoy this book.

I had to wait so long for this book and now.... I'm left with another cliffhanger that will naw at me until we get book 4.
Another thoroughly enjoyable book. I look forward to the next side quest, which i assume is the next step.
