Boring just a boring guild age crook.

Not interesting at all. Didn’t care about the minor characters in this story. I like history, but he deserved it. Narration was bland. I like historical crime but this was tedious.

Meh. Couldn't finish this.

Felt like I heard this story before. Tedious, and overwrought. Just one soap opera cliché after another. Relentless ugliness. It made me depressed. Clare Corbett did a fine job with her reading of the story. I just couldn't take the grim story.
