this story is a real roller coaster of emotions. if you've only ever listened to Scottie do short and sweet erotica, this will be a whole new level for you. She delivers a completely different side to her usual sultry performances.
these characters have depth, dimension, and you really start to feel for them. I was immediately swept up into "pack life" and felt that the setting was really well laid out.
Any fan of fantasy romance will fall in love with Silent Luna!

I wouldn't call this long burn by any means but it definitely fits into the commuter porn genre. it got me to work and back and kept my heart rate up. it was great to see Scottie back in a milking genre. she's done a lot of hucow and this is like hucow lite. (formerly Peter Stewart). I'm living for it

An instant classic!

Remember when SciFi channel used to run creature features on Thursday nights? Thats what this book is like. Its gory and fast paced, full of dark humor and neck breaking twists.
The plot is sort of The Purge: Animal Edition. The beasts of the woods rise up to do unto us what we do to them, including; boiling alive, hunting in skin camoflauge, "dog" fighting and bow hunting.
This book goes to some, shall we say, twisted places, so Calif (formerly of such literature as 'Hucow the Moo Cow' under the pseudonym Peter Stewart, and Witch Switch under the Calif name) is a perfect choice of narrator. Her often allof, gallows humor had me in stitches, while her nail biting realness kept me engaged and sympathetic with the characters as they raced through the darkest night of the century. She even starts singing about vodka at one point!
Night of 1,000 Beasts is a quick listen, but a real bang for your buck.

phenomenal

Wow! Just wow. This retelling is spell binding. Whether you know the story ready or not, you won't be able to put this one down. The writing is spell binding. I can't get these characters or the very real feeling setting out of my head.

The narration is a little touch and go at first, but she really finds her stride after the first couple chapters. Dynamic and enchanting.

If you're a fan of historical fiction, mythology and epic story telling, you can't pass this book up.

More fun than your average erotica

I liked the world building, the characters felt real, gritty and fun, and the narrator really sells the main character. She's sort of a Jessica Jones meets Harry Dresden type. Definitely worth the listen.

This book is none stop laughs. I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter and whitisism. If you're a knitter you'll deeply resonate with the light hearted comedy and real to life situations, like children who will develop a wool allergy just to spite you.

This story is fresh while still rooted in history. I enjoyed the circus magic on every page and the narrative has a real sense of showmanship. The characters feel so real and lively. This book is a real treat for lovers of history, folktales, and books.

Great writing, robotic narrator
