Historia
Fifteen years ago, high school senior Chris Whitman went to jail for murdering his girlfriend, Cheryl Diggs. Propelled by a misguided sense of chivalry, he confessed, determined to save another classmate, the beautiful and vulnerable Terry McLaughlin, from having to testify at his trial. When the truth came out, Chris was released from prison, married Terry - pregnant with his child - and changed his last name to Donatti. He also became a professional killer.

Plump story
Revisado: 07-20-16
This is amazingly a full and plup story. It is like a big Angus steer vs a holstine cow. Lots of meat on the bone.

Historia
Former LAPD lieutenant Peter Decker is relishing the quiet and slow pace of his new job with the Greenbury police department. The work is low stress and engaging, and it's been almost a year since the last murder in this sleepy upstate New York town. Then the body of a nude man is found deep within the woods, shattering Decker's peace. The death appears to be a suicide - a single shot to the head, the gun by his side. But until the coroner's ruling, the scene must be treated as a suspicious crime.

Busy Book

There was not a dull moment in the story line! I think this will have many more storey lines emerging from here. Great read!

Historia
As a detective lieutenant with the LAPD, Peter Decker witnessed enough ugliness and chaos for a lifetime. Now, he and his devoted wife, Rina Lazarus, are ready to enjoy the quiet beauty of upstate New York, where they can be closer to their four adult children and their foster son. But working for the Greenbury Police department isn't as fulfilling as Decker hoped. While Rina has adapted beautifully to their new surroundings, Decker is underwhelmed and frustrated by his new partner, Tyler McAdams, a former Harvard student and young buck with a bad 'tude.

Not an entry level book
Revisado: 05-12-16
The depth of characters is a pleasure. Much research was needed to be told in a way that was easy to understand; the politics of the art world; art history; description of the art in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg; the history of how/what happened to many irreplaceable art work from WWII. then the interaction among the characters developed throughout the story
This was worthy of a Doctoral level course.
