I really wanted to like this series but I feel it fell way short. it moves to slow. but my biggest problem is the writing is for a young teen but has strong sex content. I couldn't figure out why the main character acted like she was 15 but then had these adult moments. I kept waiting for The lead female to be a bad ass. She never grows. I just felt let down.

I thought I was going to get to listen to a paranormal book. this book was more about a girl who wanted to be a man. she has no knowledge of how girls and boys truly are. she was raised basically a slave. she dresses and pretends to be a boy. another guy falls in love with her thinking she is a guy. I had to give up on this book. was not for me.

finally a great paranormal series to read. I have been looking for a good paranormal story. something that has a good foundation great plot. Everything now days seems to be for a teenager. Too much like twilight. which I did like twilight but come on tried of reading the same ole stories. The narrator did great too. can't wait to read next book.

I hate saying I do not care for someone's work. I know authors put a whole lot into their stories. But honestly this is not my cup of tea. The narrator did a great job. The story line just wasn't up to par for me. I just expected more.

I am struggling with this book. not happy with Annika's character this go around. I just expect more from her. I miss all the Earth characters too. wish it was more mixed up. and I missed Jovani I love that little fairy. just wish they would show more growth instead of more immaturity
