Too much graphic content for my taste. Disappointing
Revisado: 02-03-24
Graphic and not anything worth listening to. I had hoped it would be better. But, the voice actors are stellar!

Historia
From her bedroom in the Tower of London, twenty-six-year-old Maggie has always dreamed of her own fairy-tale ending. Yet this is twenty-first century London, so instead of knights, she has Tinder, and instead of white horses, she has catfish. And with her last relationship ending in spectacular fashion, she swears off men for good. And then a chance encounter with Royal Guard Freddie forces Maggie to admit that she isn’t ready to give up on love just yet. But how do you catch the attention of someone who is trained to ignore all distractions?

Fun “insiders” tale of love, history, and The Tower!
Revisado: 05-20-23
Loved the characters, the history tidbits and the glimpse into this community! As an American, I can’t want to go back to London and visit the tower again. will definitely have a deeper appreciation of the people that work and live there. The audible version is a terrific listen as well. Megan. Lawson’s 1st novel is well done and I look forward to more!

Historia
Sixty-nine-year-old Arthur Pepper lives a simple life. He gets out of bed at precisely 7:30 a.m., just as he did when his wife, Miriam, was alive. He dresses in the same gray slacks and mustard sweater-vest; waters his fern, Frederica; and heads out to his garden. But on the one-year anniversary of Miriam's death, something changes. Sorting through Miriam's possessions, Arthur finds an exquisite gold charm bracelet he's never seen before.

How nice to listen to a delightful story full of interesting and believable characters. And, not an objectionable word or theme anywhere. So very refreshing.
Highly recommend this!
