Historia
Socialite Eden Carlbough didn't expect running a girls' camp to be easy, but she never thought she'd literally be run up an apple tree by the little monsters...nor did she think she'd come crashing down into the capable arms of orchard owner Chase Elliot. Chase knew he'd caught a windfall when he looked at the woman in his arms. He didn't like being cast as the serpent, but how could he resist when she'd just offered him such forbidden fruit?

I enjoyed the story, but the performer had difficulty differentiating her voice which is why I had to listen to Temptation twice.

Beauty & the Beast, Nora’s Style?
Revisado: 05-03-20
The story was a cute, forward, and predictable fairytale. It is an easy listen; however, the narrator could sometimes come off as robotic. Overall, I enjoyed listening to In Dreams.

Gripping Prequel!!!
Revisado: 04-05-20
It often takes a while for me to "get into" a book, but fortunately not with Mark Deakins and John Grisham. The writing was intriguing from start to finish. The narration was soothing to the ear. I normally just listen to my audible while walking and then I wait until the next day, but not this one! I had to finish it once I arrived home and it didn't disappoint! I'm now definitely eager to listen to the Rogue Lawyer. Thanks Mr. Grisham!!!

Nice and short!
Revisado: 04-04-20
Ever After kept my attention with its magical pendant that attracts true love. It is a feel good, highly unlikely love story. If you enjoy those type of stories, then you'll enjoy this novella! Side note: The narrator sometimes sounded a bit robotic.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Had me at the Prologue!
Revisado: 05-07-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Midnight Bayou to be better than the print version?
I didn't read Midnight Bayou, so I can't say if the audio edition is better.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Declan was my favorite character because he was witty. His prevalent quips made me laugh quite a bit.
What about James Daniels and Sandra Burr ’s performance did you like?
They both performed very well; their opposing gender voices sounded realistic and strong.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
You thought you killed me...us, but WE never died!
Any additional comments?
Nora Roberts has done it again!

The most memorable moments involved Noah gradually winning over Olivia's affection.
Which scene was your favorite?

Curiosity Piqued, But...!!!
Revisado: 11-22-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Listening to Wicked Game wasn't a waste; however, it wasn't as enjoyable as I expected it to be.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot did not keep me on the edge, but I was intrigued enough to keep listening.
What three words best describe Susan Ericksen’s voice?
Dragging
Annoying
Rough
Do you think Wicked Game needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Yes, I do think Wicked Game needs a sequel because at the end of the listen, they pretty much said it wasn't over in so many words. I won't be exact since I don't want to spoil the ending.
Any additional comments?
I am not a fan of the authors' style of writing. The entire story is told from an unknown third point of view. This form of writing doesn't allow the reader to be immersed in the book because the characters' can't really be felt. The mysterious third person constantly tells you what is said and done. Thus, the story would have been much better if the characters' told their own story.

Absorbing and Lively!!!
Revisado: 11-01-14
Where does Something on the Side rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Something on the Side was a great listen. However, the sexually explicit language was a bit much for my taste. Therefore, I'd place it beneath, but near the top of my audiobooks.
What did you like best about this story?
The story lines of each main character were all interesting; they all had some entertaining drama taking place.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrators bring their various voices that I may not have had imagined. They were great narrators and all had enjoyable voices.
If you could take any character from Something on the Side out to dinner, who would it be and why?
I'd probably take out Coco to find out how she manages to only hook successful men. She may be able to give some good tips. Lol
Any additional comments?
Much of the story was quite sexually uninhibited and unrealistic. If a woman would have written the book, I think there would have been less sexual gratification, thus more realistic. On another note, I found Tammy's character to be the most annoying. She was just too extra; she was in much need of being humbled.
