Historia
Believe it or not, by the time we graduate from high school, we've spent an average of over 14,500 hours in the classroom. But in all that time, how many teachers even attempted to teach us the meaning of life? Most schools neglect the most important class of all - Life 101. Fortunately, this best seller by John Roger and Peter McWilliams addresses all the real questions - and important answers - that we never discussed in class.

A great read--lots of good advice
Revisado: 10-05-07
If you can get beyond the cassette quality recording, the content is excellent. This book is a repository of wisdom about life and is guaranteed to get you thinking. The book is divided into chapters about the important things in life. It also has several exercises and great advice. This book has hundreds of suggestions--not one single piece of advice. If you try to read this book looking for one message, you won't find a magic key or trick to life. Life isn't that way any how. Read it, enjoy it and I'm sure you'll find things in it you've enjoyed as much as I have.

Historia
The Ringworld is a landmark engineering achievement, a flat band 3-million-times the surface area of Earth, encircling a distant star. Home to trillions of inhabitants, not all of which are human, and host to amazing technological wonders, the Ringworld is unique in all of the universe.

Good if you love the Ringworld
Revisado: 05-08-05
Ringworld (also available at Audible) is fantastic Sci Fi. The sequel to it, Ringworld Engineers is also good (not available at Audible), but beyond that, there is just a lot of the same stuff. Bad Protectors killing each other over--and over--and over. Still, the narrator was decent and the story was pretty good if you love the Ringworld.

Historia
Welcome to Ringworld, an intermediate step between Dyson Spheres and planets. The gravitational force created by a rotation on its axis of 770 miles per second means no need for a roof. Walls 1,000 miles high at each rim will let in the sun and prevent much air from escaping. Larry Niven's novel, Ringworld, is the winner of the 1970 Hugo Award for Best Novel, the 1970 Nebula Award for Best Novel, and the 1972 Ditmars, an Australian award for Best International Science Fiction.

A classic
Revisado: 03-28-05
I first read Niven through this audio book. I don't normally reread books, but this one I've read a few times. It is genius in structure and characters. It's only down-side are that there are a few slow times in the book, but they are greatly outweighed by the story itself.
