You can't say "God didn't say something" when the Scriptures clearly declare "Thus saith the LORD", simply because you think that particular OT thing "doesn't match" your image of Jesus' character!

Great book! Makes it plain why Trump came out on top despite the relentless and dishonorable tactics of the Swamp, the Mainstream Media, the Left, and worthless Hollywood!!

Dr. Warner's work is exceptional!! He really helps you to see what Muslim apologists and the useful idiots among our Western politicians, media, and academia try to hide or obscure, or are just plain ignorant of, as they try and convince us that Islam is a religion of peace.

I have just completed reading through the New International Version, with Max McLean's voice playing along in this audiobook, as a simultaneous "ear gate/eye gate" way of experiencing the Bible. Did the same thing with the King James Version and Max's audio reading. Just a great way to get through Genesis to Revelation. McLean's voice is just fantastic in its power and dignity. Hope he'll do a New Living Translation version as well. Great work!!!

Max Maclean's reading of the Holy Bible is absolutely superb. I paced myself with twelve chapters per day, reading and listening simultaneously. Got through the whole Bible cover to cover in three months and nine days. Great experience!

Really good breakdown of the tactics of the Left. A year ago, I would have had no clue how to identify, let alone respond, to the bullying and tricks of the liberal, SJW, Marxist crowd. Now, thanks to Ben Shapiro, Dinesh D'Souza, Ann Coulter, and others, I am finally seeing the Left for what they truly are.

Narrator needs some Pronunciation help!

While the book is excellent--I have the paperback, the kindle book, AND the audiobook!)--and I think the narrator did a fair job, his continuous pronunciation of Hades (HAY-deez) as Hadas' (huh-DASS) was freakin' irritating! (I don't even think it's pronounced that way in Greek!) He speaks perfect American English, yet his pronunciation of that word was as if he had no clue how Americans say it! His pronunciation of Apocrypha was also as if he'd never encountered that word before (luckily IT was only in one chapter!). While I still enjoyed the hearing of the book being read, those few "pronunciation quirks" gave it just a slight irritation factor.

The book is incredibly valuable to me in understanding the message of Universal Salvation. It still trips me out how many of my fellow Christians turn "brain-dead" when I tell them how important it is to do an actual study of the key Hebrew and Greek words. It's like they're determined to dig in their heels and stick their heads in the sand, in order to hold on to the false teaching of Eternal Conscious Torment!

So eye-opening. The man's paintings are now ten times more powerful in my mind now that I understand his rise, his struggles, his creative mindset and energy, the role others played in his life and art business, and above all, the contrast between his triumphant artist spirit and inner weaknesses that finally brought him down. Very humbling and enlightening. And the Audible narration was superb!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I could not recommend this book to anyone--except those naive politically correct leaders who, while proclaiming Islam "a religion of peace", have NEVER actually read the book! The Qur'an (Koran) is the most negative book I have ever read and listened to! This Muslims claim that the "Allah" who sent down the Qur'an is the same God who inspired the Torah and the Gospel. They say it because that is the claim the Qur'an makes repeatedly makes.

But just as no well trained art investigator would look at an authentic Rembrandt and an authentic Jackson Pollock and be fooled into thinking they were done by one artist, no one who is truly familiar with the Torah and the Gospel would be fooled into thinking that the Qur'an came from the same source! The God of the Torah and the god of the Qur'an don't "talk" the same--AT ALL! The God of the Bible is triune, yet speaks as a unity in saying "I"--while the god of the Qur'an is suppose to an absolute single entity, yet speaks in a plural "we". Just one of the MANY glaring differences between the two.

This book was NOT inspired by a god who LOVES humanity! Every other verse is nothing but threats and curses and "hellfire" and "worship me or else". A god who hates anyone and everyone who doesn't follow his so-called "straight path". I don't care if the Qur'an proclaims a thousand times that "God is merciful"--it turns right around to proclaim a thousand and one times how much God delights and relishes in sending all disagreeing people to burn in hellfire forever.

The "Jesus" of the Qur'an and the Jesus of the Gospels are absolutely NOT the same person, by ANY stretch of the imagination. If I want to know the substantial words of Jesus and the facts about Jesus, I have to go to the Gospels! The "Jesus" of the Qur'an SAYS nothing meaningful, DOES nothing meaningful, and ACHIEVES absolutely nothing meaningful!

The Qur'an differs from the Bible in that there is no coherent chronology, no story being told, as it were, from beginning to end, no discernible context, no systematic presentation of any subject or event. It is, quite simply, the most uncomfortable read I have ever encountered. I deeply respect the narrator for being able to read it from start to finish. I also know now why Muslims say "You have to read it in Arabic". The Qur'an in English is just plain hard to take. You'd practically HAVE to listen to it in a language you don't understand to be able to associate anything mystical to this book.

My apologies to any Muslims who are offended by this critique, but I don't believe in political correctness when it comes to the issue of a book that claims to be from the one true God.

Would you ever listen to anything by Trout Lake Media again?

Sure.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. Not for Trout Lake Media, nor for Alec Sand. But rather for the Qur'an itself.
