Great work!
Revisado: 03-08-15
This is one of the best books I've experienced. It was balanced in the way of being both historical and entertaining. The narration was great, and the author was true to his bias, yet objective at the same time.

The best ontological work Iv'e ever read.
Revisado: 09-22-14
What made the experience of listening to The Courage to Be the most enjoyable?
I was very sick of shallow treatments of this subject in my "evangelical bubble". This work was not only informative, but challenging! I hope to find more works like this in the future.
What aspect of Mort Crim’s performance would you have changed?
It was quite dry, but some how his stately sound made sense for the material.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me examine my motives and identity.

Historia
It’s no wonder that The Power of Now has sold over 16 million copies worldwide and has been translated into over 30 foreign languages. Much more than simple principles and platitudes, the book takes readers on an inspiring spiritual journey to find their true and deepest self and reach the ultimate in personal growth and spirituality: the discovery of truth and light. In the first chapter, Tolle introduces listeners to enlightenment and its natural enemy, the mind.

Very insightful.
Revisado: 09-22-14
If you could sum up The Power of Now in three words, what would they be?
insightful, intuitive, and mystic.
What did you like best about this story?
The Idea of staying in the now is new and challenging to me. He made a lot of good points of the benefits of doing so.
What about Eckhart Tolle’s performance did you like?
He has a calming voice, which is bad if you are drowsy, but I generally like it when authors read their own books.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I was most moved when Tolle spoke of the parallels between what Jesus taught and being in the now. As a Christian, many people might find this material too "outside of their box" but as a long time student of Christian Theology, I find nothing outside various forms of Christian tradition(specifically Christian mysticism). This is from a universalist perspective so this would most likely rub most evangelicals and fundamentalist the wrong way, but as a progressive/ post-evangelical I found it challenging and devotional.
Any additional comments?
I would recommend this book to anyone with an open mind who want's to explore uniting with God.

The 13th-century mystic Meister Eckhart was the most brilliant Christian scholar of his day, but he was also legendary for the way that he opened listeners to the direct experience of God during his public talks. Today, his written wisdom remains alive as ever, ready to illuminate us.
