Picked it up because R C Bray was reading and that makes anything better. But, Black is cool and the books are tight. Plenty of action but the characters come to life as well. Was bummed when it ended because it was so fun.

R. C. Bray reads one of the greatest sci-fi novels ever by Robert A. Heinlein! Christmas came a little early this year. I read the book many years ago and triggered my curiosity about Heinlein. Since I have read or listened to over a dozen of his books. Some good, some great but none quite as compelling as Starship Troopers. To have R. C. Bray put some gravel into it is outstanding!

Surprised to enjoy this book so much because it’s outside of my normal genre. But I heard a preview and immediately liked it. The book handled the mundane and the fantastic with equal measures and great storytelling.

Took a chance on Finder (book 1) because it was free and I needed a new listen. It was great and I’ve been binging Fergus since. This book was as good if not better than the first two. I will be buying extra credits tomorrow so I can start on book 4. I hope she keeps going because 4 won’t be enough.
