Historia
A small section of vine with bloodstained thorns has been encased in candle wax for centuries - and some believe the blood came from Christ. Convicted killer and death-row inmate Michael Coleman agrees to have the genes from the mysterious blood planted into his body. The results are so astonishing that the research must continue outside prison walls. But nobody can predict what will happen when Coleman assumes a new identity and reenters society. Blood of Heaven delves deep into the human heart and examines the very nature of good versus evil.

Creative and engaging story
Revisado: 06-11-24
It was a creative plot line and had some suspenseful elements but ultimately it was a little bit predictable and it was close to a 4 star in my books but not quite so if I could have given it 3.75 I would have.

Historia
It begins on the shaded town square in a sleepy Southern town. A spirited seven-year-old has a brisk business at her lemonade stand. But the little girl’s pretty yellow dress can’t quite hide the ugly scar on her chest. Her latest customer, a bearded stranger, drains his cup and heads to his car, his mind on a boat he's restoring at a nearby lake. The stranger understands more about the scar than he wants to admit. And the beat-up bread truck careening around the corner with its radio blaring is about to change the trajectory of both their lives.

Good Story - Excellent Performances!
Revisado: 02-07-24
Interesting story of the events that go on at a house from the Revolution until present day - interesting concept and I like how it tied together but the series of short stories didn’t captivate me as much as a single engrossing plot line does.

Great book if you are interested in a historical adventure novel where the good guys always win. The narrator does an outstanding job and takes this book to another level versus reading it. Perfect for a long road trip or relaxing evening read.

Historia
1950: Margaret Devonshire (Megs) is a 17-year-old student of mathematics and physics at Oxford University. When her beloved eight-year-old brother asks Megs if Narnia is real, logical Megs tells him it’s just a book for children, and certainly not true. Homebound due to his illness, and remaining fixated on his favorite books, George presses her to ask the author of the recently released novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe a question: “Where did Narnia come from?”

Interesting Concept for Story
Revisado: 05-05-22
Decent book - little slow at times - but the unique concept, CS Lewis tie ins, and Narnia references make up for it.
Only real negative is when the narrator did the boys voices it was a bit grating on the nerves.
