A fitting second half to the first story. A few more twists and more sociological and psychological warfare.
Can’t wait to finish the tale…

The story sticks to formula, however, like all tried and true recipes it doesn’t disappoint. I got wrapped up in the characters. I was excited to see the progressions and character development of the hero. What a hero does to gain loyalty was phenomenal. I didn’t see that coming, have to give kudos to the author. Pause the story and try to figure it out for yourself before you hit play again, I promise you, you wouldn’t have figured it out.

Voice actor was clear
Some of the grimacing cries were greatly performed. Thank you for doing all ills in the series

First few chapters were in anticipation of getting on with it, then we he came to the other planet…it was several chapters of discourse and philosophy before the story progressed. Then a great middle! And then the last chapter was steeped heavy in philosophy. I was able to track with most of it but in some points it made my head spin.
Overall, great story and deeper truths that are relatable to us today. Extremely insightful. Just less of a story or epic and more like another philosophical book by Jack.

An Arthur C Clark fan this CS Lewis Space story is as fantastic without all of the technical mechanic explanation of space ships and alien technology. Where Clarke is heavy on mechanics Lewis here goes deep into philosophy but nothing like a rabbit whole where you forget the main story. It was very casual and relevant. Makes you think. As any Lewis story would.
This whole Space story was on a dare of sorts between Jack (Lewis) and Toliers (Tolkien). Jack flipped a coin and got to write about Space while Toliers was tasked to write about time travel. Jack wrote a trilogy and the Tolkien time travel story only seen a few chapters I think.
Jack immerse you into a alien world with plenty of description, without taking you on chapters of exposition or side stories like Tolkien might have.

Israel’s story from an Israeli

Hearing this is the authors voice is exciting because he is excited. He tells you as if he was casually driving you around the city after dinner in Israel somewhere. It has plenty of Ah-hah moments as well as grounded common sense “Don’t overthink this guys” type of explanation. I love what he says about the battered bride theory.

Pacing is done well, so…If you’re looking for a good overall review of the Revelation and get some modern day understanding of its depictions, then this is a handy book to have on hand.

Amir admits sometimes we don’t know everything in Revelation and that’s okay because that was intentional. This book is not too deep to put you to sleep and it’s not so light that you feel like you wasted your Credit on the book. His extra insight from a Jewish background is balanced as he also speaks as he is from The Church.
