Historia
Nola Trenholm may not be psychic herself, but she’s spent enough time around people who are to know when ghosts are present, and there are definitely a few lingering spirits in her recently purchased Creole cottage in New Orleans. Something, or someone, is keeping them tethered to this world. And not all of them are benign. But with the sudden return of Sunny Ryan, Beau Ryan’s long-lost sister, Nola has plenty to distract her from her ghostly housemates.

If you loved the Tradd Street series by the same author, you have to read this one! I think her ghost and paranormal books are getting better and better!!!
I find these characters to be very well developed and easy to love.

Historia
When Ann Woodward shot her husband, banking heir Billy Woodward, in the middle of the night in 1955, her life changed forever. Though she claimed she thought he was a prowler, few believed the woman who had risen from charismatic showgirl to popular socialite. Everyone had something to say about the scorching scandal afflicting one of the most rich and famous families of New York City, but no one was more obsessed with the tale than Truman Capote.

Very interesting
Revisado: 04-28-23
I liked the way the narrator was true to Mr Capote in direct quotes by giving a sense of how he talked. I thought the story was quite good, the parallel between Capote and Ms. Woodward showed a different perspective from other accounts. The author clearly illustrates how members of high society could take or leave the ordinary person quite easily.

Historia
It's been 10 years since Nicolette Farrell left her rural hometown after her best friend, Corinne, disappeared from Cooley Ridge without a trace. Back again to tie up loose ends and care for her ailing father, Nic is soon plunged into a shocking drama that reawakens Corinne's case and breaks open old wounds long since stitched. The decade-old investigation focused on Nic; her brother, Daniel; her boyfriend, Tyler; and Corinne's boyfriend, Jackson. Since then only Nic has left Cooley Ridge.

Don't bother

Most horribly written book I have ever read or listen to. Was a book club read for me, otherwise I would have not listen to the entire thing.

Historia
How do you move on after losing the person you loved? How do you build a life worth living? Louisa Clark is no longer just an ordinary girl living an ordinary life. After the transformative six months spent with Will Traynor, she is struggling without him. When an extraordinary accident forces Lou to return home to her family, she can’t help but feel she’s right back where she started. Her body heals, but Lou herself knows that she needs to be kick-started back to life. Which is how she ends up in a church basement with the members of the Moving On support group.

Great Sequel!
Revisado: 10-03-15
While not as heart wrenching as "Me Before You", this continuation of Louisa Clark's story is well written. The girl who touched our hearts in the earlier book, is trying to figure out what direction to take. We get to know her family a little better, and are given a little more positive picture of them. The book has its happy moments and sad moments, even a bit of excitement.
I could not help but notice that the ending was left where she could either write another book or not. It will be interesting to see what the author ultimately decides to do. It works either way, as we are left to imagine what good things are in store for Louisa and she embarks on the next chapter in her life's journey.
