Loved the legal reasoning in the book on various topics. An eye opening and deep critical thinking book with variety of examples.

Last two chapters on “service” and “who we are” concludes it perfectly!

Australia is an interesting place. It truly is!

Overall a very in depth tour of Australia. Bryson has put good effort in writing this book. The structure of this book could have been better but I learnt about so many new things about Australia.

Hope Bryson does a trip to Bungle Bungle Range in the North and Tasmania to the south.

Abridged version in Bryson voice

This is an abridged version but I love it in Bryson’s own voice. I’d recommend read / listen the full version.

Bryson discovered an America that millions of people scarcely know exists. He made a friend. He came home. He hiked the AT.

Incredible Travel Story

One feel like taking a hike along side Katz and Bryson. Enjoyed relevant information being thrown in the chapters while hiking of history, vegetation, animals and weather. Make sure to hike Appalachian Trail (AT) if you can and think of Bryson while doing it.

A novel far ahead of its time. Story of discontent, passion and tragedy

Beautifully written by French writer Gustave Flaubert in mid 19th century. The main character Emma lives beyond her means in order to escape the fullness of rural life.

When this novel was published in 1856, it was attacked by public prosecutors for its “obscenity”. There was a trial and Flaubert was eventually acquitted. This made this a best seller. Not an average sordid affair story as it’s brutal and seems a true story of the time. Must read!!

Great Novel set in late 18th Century

Excellent book contrasting London and Paris. Apart from coincidences in this book, it’s a great piece of literature. This is set when Britain was fighting France and it’s own colony (now known as United States of America). Life in London is harsh with robbery and a nation facing defeats whereas life in France is ever changing with a revolution to come. Great novel!

Book has good summary but lacks more in depth research

Book provides a good brief summary of space companies and challenges it faced. This book lacks more research, work into future. Most of events mentioned in the book would be known to someone who followed space news or social media.

Nonetheless a great book for someone to understand about emergence of private industries. It would be exciting to see what lies ahead in space entrepreneurship where only national governments have been a player so far.
