Historia
Trae and Corey will take you from the smallest of small towns to major US metropolises (or is it metropoli? We haven't a fartin' clue!). They'll even cross the pond to sip tea in some of them fancy kings-and-castles places that PBS Viewers Like You can't stop yapping about. From Chickamauga to Cheyenne, New York to New Orleans, Seattle to Scotland—no matter where these two wandering jesters go, there's something to roast, something to toast, and something to learn about what ties us together as humans. Even the most outrageous of us.

She had so many different revelations in this book that I felt like she was telling my own story the similarities and how I feel about things and how I’ve experience some things it’s just unbelievable. This is a must-read book for any dark-skinned girl who sometimes feels the world is against him.

Had no idea that the rapper was such a phenomenal writer. In listening to this book, I would’ve never guessed that. This was some thing going on all within the mind of the person, and that it would have such a profound message about mental health. Keep up the good work man.

Tv VS Book
Revisado: 11-19-20
This is one of the books I read after watching the television series. While the television series was very entertaining I enjoyed know more about the characters by listening to this book. To be able to see the differences in the changes were also interesting. But I truly enjoyed the ending and how the book was laid out better than a television series. I will keep a hard copy of this book and also purchase a copy of the series because both of them were enjoyable.

Historia
Once described by The Washington Post as "the most interesting mayor you've never heard of", Pete Buttigieg, the 36-year-old Democratic mayor of South Bend, Indiana, has improbably emerged as one of the nation's most visionary politicians. First elected in 2011, Buttigieg left a successful business career to move back to his hometown, previously tagged by Newsweek as a "dying city", and transformed it into a shining model of urban reinvention.

Insightful
Revisado: 08-29-19
I honestly heard about this book by watching real-time with Bill Maher. It was doing a debate or better yet a discussion between family guy creator Seth MacFarlane and run the jewels rapper and activist Killer Mike. they were having a discussion about all of the current democratic candidates and Pete Buttigieg came up. killer Mike said he liked him but couldn’t vacuum due to firing of a black police chief in his hometown of South Bend Indiana. Seth MacFarlane then told the rapper/activist he should read the shortest way home an autobiography by Pete budget and he also stated that until you hear how hard of a decision it was for him to make you will never really understand the man and what makes him a great candidate for president. after listening to this book I have a newfound respect for this young man and can really see him in the oval office he is one to look out for and someone I hope if Bernie gets the nod will tap for vice president and if Bernie does not as of right now Pete Buttigieg has my vote

Rethink your feelings on Black Culture
Revisado: 08-13-19
After reading this book I will rethink my ideals on black culture. I never really agree with the way African Americans gravitated to the notion that you were not really black unless you subscribed to hip-hop culture or dressed like a hoodlum. if you did not speak in slang or use proper English you were considered a sellout or you wanted to be white. this book breaks down the idea of wanting to be white and where it came from. The fact that our ignorant slang speaks and somewhat attitudes and not just holy hours but have transcended different cultures in generations for years is a surprise. after this book, I am more comfortable in my ideas of not wanting to assimilate to hip-hop culture or be like the others they call me whitewashed. I will push through my success I will make sure I am not falling into the black redneck or the liberal white mentality.

Revisado: 01-15-18
If you’ve ever wondered about what was going on in the trump White House this book will give you great insight to the Mayham and madness that’s going on in the current in administration. It also confirms most peoples ideas of why he ran in the first place he never intended to be president he has no clue what he’s doing and if he actually last eight years our country would be in dire trouble
