Historia
Assisted by Luv Lass a young newlywed named Darcey Teller seeks to identify and to bring to justice her murdered husband's killers. Using Darcey's expertise as a photographer, the two unlikely heroines devise a machination they refer to as "The Kill Shot" as a means of accomplishing this deadly task. But first they must do battle with each other, with their own social differences and with Darcey's desire for vengeance over justice, before ultimately battling it out with the bad men.

This is great!
Revisado: 11-29-17
This is a book to keep you on your seat. Darcey Teller one of the main characters she is amazingly smart lady. She is living the happy newly married dream. All that comes to an end when a couple of thief's end her husband's life. The shock of sitting by her husband's side during his last moments makes up Darcey's mind. She's going to find the killers and hopefully bring them to justice. Than the real adventure begins, Old wild west style.
I found myself stopping everything I was doing several times to listen to exactly what was going on in the story. The story line took me through it all Shock, sadness, that oh no feeling, and than the triumph came in the end. It was hard to believe the author could pack that much into a story line less the 6 hours long.
I would listen to this book again.
Narrated by: Craig Hensley did a great job. He really helped bring that old west style out in this story. He was great at the voice changes he did for each character.

I was so into this western. Cody the main character is a bounty hunter ready to settle down. He thinks. After he turns his last bounty in some shady guys in the town turn up the heat. Cody our hero is ready. What he didn't know is that he was going to get some needed help from some surprising people, a boy and his mom.
This is really good and well worth listening to even if a western is not your norm. Everyone needs a good hero to make that last stand. And Ever hero deserves a happily ever after. But I felt that the mom and the young boy found a happily ever after too. I think that just added to my enjoy of this audio book.
About the author. Very impressive how he was able to include so much action, supense, and a romance in this story. Good job! I would listen to this again.
The narrator Lawrence D. Palmer: What a great job in this western. He used this old wild west voice that was so on it. It helps put you the listener in the story time line.

Historia
They came four years ago. Invaded our planet, rounded us up, and decimated the human race. We fought back, and some even say we won, but they're wrong. The invaders took everything from us. Our family. Our hope. Our humanity. We won the war, but there are no humans left. Only monsters who will do anything to survive. Some look human and some don't, but they are all the same. Eighteen-year-old Eva has spent the last year punishing herself for her sister's death and hiding from everyone.

A decimated world
Revisado: 10-21-17
This was a very interesting story of a decimated world after the invasion of "Creeper's". For a youth end world story it was prefect. The book follows Eva 4 years after she's lost everyone she's loved. She meets up with a few good people that help her get through this new world, while they continue to try to find the people that they loved and believe are still alive some where. I'm not crazy about the evil things that people will probably do after the end of our world. But the author does a great job with touching base with those "evils" with out the need to go into gory detail! Thankfully!
One of the part's I really loved about this book was that Eva not only makes new friends with some good people left in this world but finds a new love "Walker". Together they are able to find a few loved ones also. So I really felt that "good wins over evil" in the book. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoy's post apocalyptic story's but would like to be without the gory parts. A fairly fast paced book.
The narrator: Betty does a very nice job of giving the listener a feel for what Eva is going through in this end world.

I'm an enforcer, it's what I do. I was brought to the Boneyard Brotherhood to do one thing, keep everyone in line. Break our code, run afoul of our laws? It's my boot that will be bringing you back in check. If there was a problem, I'm the one who took care of it; by whatever means necessary. My own safety was never a concern. I enjoyed the thrill, the Adrenalin and the rush that I had lost since leaving the Marines. But, all of that changed when I met her.

I loved it!
Revisado: 10-21-17
This is a Oh my god great book! It follow's Adrenalin an ex military, ex con who is now in a biker gang and is now an Enforcer for the gang. Adrenalin is a tough hot guy who does what is needed for the gang with no regard to himself. Than he finally meets Dylan and his entire world changes. He finally finds a someone to care for, something to live for. It is so cute that he is the one who goes after her and not the other way around.
I really like this biker gang too. The guys are ex military guys who are not really back into our normal society. So they have grouped up together. They have their own code and it's partly to keep the really bad gang's out of their area the gang has claimed. It really is in part the best part of the story line. I liked that Adrenalin story was not just about being saved by Dylan's love but he maintains a real life for his character.
The author makes Adrenalin's character believable and real for the listener. I think all of us women want to find a hot guy we can save like him.
I recommend listening to this book. I will by listening to it again!
The narrator: Gideon Welles has this sexy voice that I could listen to all day again and again. I hope to find more of his audio books!

Desperate, willing to sacrifice anything to feed my mother and sister, I pretended to be one of the pure women of The Circle trained to be mated to the warriors. In so doing, I tricked the formidable Duke into marrying me. He must never learn of my deception, or my family and I are doomed.

Idan pick's his wife
Revisado: 10-18-17
I was pulled into Idan and Svali's world. This is the 1st book I've listened to by Jane Henry. I loved it. It was amazing. She bought everything you want in a fantasy. A strong hero warrior hunk that we want to save Svali and her family after he learns of their plight.
So the book starts when the king commands Idan to pick a wife to help him rule.
He picks from a circle of 7 women prepared to become a wife. Svali sneaks into the circle. Idan knows from the 1st night she hiding something. His dominating nature brings her to heel. With plenty of hot sex and spanking. LOL
I really hope this book is a warm up of this world of Idan and Svali. I just felt this kingdom could have real potential to become so much more. With these strong characters. The deep love they found in the story line. Good Job Jane Henry this is a hit keep going with it!
The narrators: Jeffery Peterson pitch prefect. He helps bring out the hot warrior hunk in Idan. I have this picture of Idan bouncing around my head. Wishing I could meet Idan now.
Ali Peterson she is a great Svali. The way she pitched her voice for the damsel in distress was great! I was really cheering for Svali when she bravely ran off to save her family.

Amanda Givens is careful how she uses her powers. She doesn't want the people of Canaan, Connecticut, to know they have a witch among them... even a good, white witch. For years, she's lived quietly in a remote cabin in the woods with Amadeus, her feline familiar. When she's wrongly blamed for a rash of ritualistic murders committed by a satanic cult, she knows she can't hide any longer. She's the one the cult's after. More than that, she’s the only one who can stop them and prove her innocence.

Amazing
Revisado: 11-06-15
Where does Witches rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I really like Kathryn Meyer Griffith and the books she writes. This is really one of the better ones I've gotten a chance to listen too. I love audio book because I can cook, clean and work while listening and never have to put a good book down.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Witches?
Amanda, she seems to just want a quiet life. I would too if I was a witch that lived in a cabin out in the forest. I think when she was sent back in time. From that point on I was pretty well hooked on the story line. I thought it was great she started to take care of the little kids. It was terrible for Amanda to find that she had step children through the body she had taken over and to find that they were not being taken care of. This was also one of my favorite parts of the book. When she started to sell the jewelry and made clothes for the children after they had been so mistreated. I thought it was great she just excepted her life and made the best of it that she could.
What does Erica L. Risberg bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Erica was an interesting narrator. She did a good job with Amanda. She really helped you fall in love with Amanda.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No the audio book is too long for that.

A New world for us to explore
Revisado: 11-06-15
Would you consider the audio edition of The Dawn of Mars to be better than the print version?
Yes, I like to cook, drive, clean and sometimes listen while I'm at work. With a book I'd have to put it down to get anything done. Plus a good narrator can bring a book to life that I might not have been able to get into otherwise.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Dawn of Mars?
When the star ships showed up and were threatening to start a war on the planet Mars if the major didn't give up command of the planet. That was pretty intense. I was glad the author decided to go with the reasonable solution for the captain of the ship in the lead.
Which character – as performed by Roberto Scarlato – was your favorite?
All the main characters were pretty intense. Max Lupine was the bad guy trying to take over. He was a believable character. I can imagine a top official doing what ever it takes to be 1# and take control of everything.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No only because it was a little long for that. But I did enjoy the book and would listen to a book 2 when it comes out.

Would you listen to 1000 French Verbs in Context again? Why?
Yes most likely several times. I love to learn new things. This is an easy to listen to audio book. It would have been nice to have a chance to practice the verb as I went along. Kevin Pierce is a great narrator. I love listening to books that he has worked on.
