Didn't break even or surpass book 1

I feel like this series could have just ended after book 1. Seemed like more of the same in different circumstances.

Fantastic

This was unique and interesting. I would have preferred an Asian accent for the narrator so that I could feel fully immersed.

I really liked it, but don't love it
Revisado: 01-13-20
Part 1 was introductory and it and the characters didn't start off as very interesting. The Blade Itself part 1 was fantastic, so I can't make any excuses for this book.
Part 2 and 3 is where all the action is and that combined with the narrator's performance made it fantastic. I love that I can laugh in these books even though it's grimdark.

Not a fave, but 5 stars
Revisado: 12-12-19
I won't mark this as a favorite because it's historical fiction and I usually don't gravitate that way. That being said, it is very well written and it is not hard to follow. I am not an expert on Eleanor of Aquitaine, so, any inaccuracies didn't get in my way. I enjoyed learning more about this time in history. The audiobook is very well done. It deserves 5 stars in my opinion.

I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't completely enthralling for me. The plot was well thought out.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Extremely interesting person, Chris Kyle. A true hero and legend. Excellently written and narrated. Usually I prefer to read it myself, but the narrator brought it to life.
