Historia
Something strange is happening at the Orsk furniture superstore in Cleveland. Every morning, employees arrive to find broken Kjerring wardrobes, shattered Brooka glassware, and vandalized Liripip sofa beds—clearly someone, or something, is up to no good. To unravel the mystery, five young employees volunteer for a long dusk-till-dawn shift and encounter horrors that defy imagination.

Hated the commercial transitions.
Revisado: 06-29-21
I really enjoyed the Hotel California like feel to the story, but the commercial transitions between chapters were extremely distracting. I fast forwarded them 30 seconds every time.

Historia
In the year 2243, the Moon belongs to the dead. The largest graveyard in the solar system, it was the perfect solution to the overcrowding and environmental problems that had plagued mankind for centuries. And the perfect place for Cali Washington to run away from her past. But when a mysterious meteor crashes into one of the Moon’s cemeteries, Cali and her fellow Caretakers find themselves surrounded by a terrifying enemy force that outnumbers them more than a thousand to one. An enemy not hindered by the lack of air or warmth or sustenance. An enemy that is already dead.

Not what I expected, but a great listen
Revisado: 03-14-19
While this book was not what I expected when advertised as part of the Threshold series, I did enjoy it. I am a fan of Peter Clines and Ray Porter so I normally enjoy their collaboration of story telling and performance. This was no exception in that regard. It doesn’t neatly fit into the Threshold series but I can see some threads where Peter is drawing some connections to earlier books and preparing for upcoming books.

Walking Proof
Revisado: 08-07-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Kick Your Fat in the Nuts to be better than the print version?
I put them on the same level depending on where you are during the day.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Tony
What does Donny Baarns bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
It is always great to hear a book in another persons voice so I can pick up things I may have missed by reading myself.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I think the title of the book is tag line enough. I mean who doesn't want to kick their fat in the nuts?
Any additional comments?
I purchased the book a year ago and downloaded the audio book several weeks ago when I learned it was available. It is great to re-read portions of the book as a refresher as well as listen to the book as well. I have picked up things I had either forgotten or skimmed over when I read the book myself. I have used the information in this book to assist me with my transformation from a size 44 pants to a size 34 pants in one year. I have changed my diet and added exercise but also employed several things that Tony talks about in the book such as making sure digestion is right and adding certain supplements based on what my body is doing. It is an ever changing process but well worth the effort!
