Great Start to a Great New Series!

I have been a fan of Rachel Aaron for a while now, so I was really looking forward to this new series. It does not disappoint! This is one of those stories that, the deeper you get into it, the faster you want it to go, while at the same time, not wanting it to end! Excellence all the way around! I want book two now!

Once again, C. J. Aaron took me on an emotional roller coaster ride in this last book of The Catalyst Series. He surprised me yet again with how he ended the book and the series. It made me ugly cry, it was so good. I highly recommend this seties!

As with Book 4 of The Catalyst Series by C. J. Aaron, Book 5 ended in a way I didn't expect, which leaves me breathlessly wondering how Book 6, the last book of the series, will end. I both desperately want to find out and dread finding out because it will be over all too soon. Still, I have to know, so here I go...

Book Four of the Catalyst Series by C. J. Aaron lives up to the promise of the first three books! This book ended in a way I didn't expect, so I'm eagerly going to dive into book five to see what happens next. I preferred the narrator of the bundle of books 1 through 3, which is why I gave the performance 4 stars.

This is an excellent entry into the In Death series! There's something especially creepy about this book's villain. I inhaled this book in less than 24 hours, which is both a blessing and a curse! 🤣 I highly recommend it!

Eve Dallas is one of my all-time favorite characters and this book is a stellar example of why. This story kept my attention from beginning to end. It's one of those books that made me resent going to work because it kept me from finishing the book faster. There was, for me, a bittersweet moment in the book. Yet, it wasn't unexpected. I loved continuing to learn about what was going on in all the characters lives. As for the narration, Susan Erickson once again did a superlative job! She's one of the few narrators I can think of who's so good at giving so many characters their own unique and recognizable voices. She's amazing! Another winner for J. D. Robb, aka Nora Roberts!
