Many titles I've listened to with D&D/LitRPG themes have been intriguing and so has this one, the main character is pretty relatable and uses magic that comes with a different twist. Definitely not for the younger audience, but not 100 percent vulgar either. The performance by both narrators is appreciable and the story is entertaining as well as the solutions the character uses for problems that would be uncommon in the realm of the book. Will definitely continue this series and look into more by this author and these narrators.

I can only see this story getting better and better. As long as these books are, I have been taking them down in just a few days time each. Each book contains all my favorite elements from other books that have kept me captivated. The adventure and quests of Game of Thrones. The magic of Harry Potter. The confrontation of morality from the Walking Dead. The fast pace of Maze Runner. All while feeling like the world around you is part of a sensory filled video game like Ready Player 1. This book is an entire adventure in itself. Time to start the next one.

I grew up with a fascination of archaeology and this island in particular and this book provided me with all of the answers to questions I had and even more. I began to lose interest around chapter three where everything told starts feeling redundant but then suddenly I was captivated unable to stop listening as more and more of the research unfolded.
