Historia
Dylan Gallagher’s hot neighbor loathed him from the second he moved in, and causing a flood, falling through the floor, and landing directly onto that same neighbor’s bed probably means that’s unlikely to change. The poorly timed “It’s Raining Men” joke didn’t help. Meanwhile, ER nurse Derek Chang’s life is a literal when-rains-it-pours nightmare. A man he hates dropped into his life along with an astronomically expensive problem originating from Derek’s own apartment’s plumbing.

Standard romcom
Revisado: 04-04-25
Pretty common, commercial romance. Not a bad story by any stretch, but it is predictable and vanilla. Some cute moments and decent pacing overall.

Big Disappointment
Revisado: 01-26-25
There are too many ideas / plot lines happening all at once with unrealistic, miraculous conclusions that jolt the overall pacing. The first half of the book was amazing and then it just went off the rails. I rarely regret investing into a story, but this one I do. I felt betrayed by the author due to their choices in developing the characters and conclusions to each storyline.

Surprised by positive reviews
Revisado: 10-27-24
I am really surprised by the number of positive reviews of this particular story. I found it to be predictable, cumbersome, and ill-paced. The two narrators did not match the personality of the main characters. There were several times when I contemplated not finishing the story but wanted to give it a fair chance due to the positive reviews.

Historia
Nicholas “Coal” Claus used to love Christmas. Until his father, the reigning Santa, turned the holiday into a PR façade. Coal will do anything to escape the spectacle, including getting tangled in a drunken, supremely hot make-out session with a beautiful man behind a seedy bar one night. But the heir to Christmas is soon commanded to do his duty: he will marry his best friend, Iris, the Easter Princess and his brother’s not-so-secret crush. A situation that has disaster written all over it. Things go from bad to worse when a rival arrives to challenge Coal for the princess’s hand.

A hidden gem of a story. Unique twist on a classic tale of princes. The narration was top notch and really brought the story to life.

Historia
As personal assistant to a powerful alpha of a large pack, there are certain rules Jamie has for himself to make sure he’s successful at his job. First, nothing and no one gets to the alpha without his say-so. Second, schedules will be enforced for everyone. At all costs. Third, a certain Enforcer with an enticing scent and scarred face is not to be stared at, drooled over, and/or daydreamed about. And fourth, human hunters are never, ever mate material—no matter what their smiles or Southern drawls do to him.

Insufferable
Revisado: 09-27-24
I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, but this one was a real struggle to get through. I appreciate the complexity of the love story, but the plot barely progressed. The dialogue between the three men felt forced and not aligned to their demeanor. It honestly caused me to stop with the series.

Historia
Bookstore owner Aubrey Barnes likes his quiet, orderly London life, thank you very much. His shop may be struggling, his only employee is a menace, and his plumbing is one creaky pipe away from disaster, but he can handle it. Maybe. He cannot, however, handle the film company that's thrown his Soho street into chaos. And he definitely can't handle the charismatic American actor Blake Sinclair.

Fantastic performance
Revisado: 07-28-24
Favorite MM romance story behind Red, White, and Royal Blue. You can't help but fall in love with the characters and root for them along the way. Beyond a wonderful story, the narrator provides a brilliant performance that is top-notch.

And it’s been years since Jack and Nate have said more than a few sentences to each other. But their followers don’t have to know any of that.

Cute story
Revisado: 07-04-24
It's a cute story that pays homage to the classic romcom. The narration is amazing and really makes it a worthwhile listen. I enjoyed the story but it does try to take on a bigger bite of complexity than it probably should have. Overall, recommend and a worthwhile listen.

In a strange little home built into the branches of a grove of trees, live three robots—fatherly inventor android Giovanni Lawson, a pleasantly sadistic nurse machine, and a small vacuum desperate for love and attention. Victor Lawson, a human, lives there too. They’re a family, hidden and safe. The day Vic salvages and repairs an unfamiliar android labelled “HAP,” he learns of a shared dark past between Hap and Gio–a past spent hunting humans. When Hap unwittingly alerts robots from Gio’s former life to their whereabouts, the family is no longer hidden and safe.

Beautiful ending
Revisado: 03-07-24
I normally enjoy TJ's books, but I really struggled with this one and almost stopped after the first hour of listening. I honestly think for me it probably was the narration and I would have probably enjoyed reading the book instead of listening to it. The ending is lovely and everything I have come to expect from the author.

There’s more that doesn’t add up: evidence indicates strangers have been on board, the ship’s operating system is voiced by his mother, and his handsome, brooding shipmate has barricaded himself away. Beautiful love story
Revisado: 12-02-23
The sci-fi aspect of this story really serves as a background for the love story between the two main characters. There is an interesting exploration of the human condition that I found intriguing. Without spoiling anything, the last part (ending) really ruined the journey throughout the story for me and I found myself wishing it wasn't included. I think the book would have benefited from exploring the love story more as there were several beautiful moments that really pulled on my heart. Definitely worth a listen.
