A story that I never want to be end.

Checking in with Salvos and the rest of the crew on their epic adventure is one of my favorite daily occasions.
Salvos staying true to character, some other interesting and unexpected occurrences, and some crazy battle scenes.. I can't wait to pick up the next book.


My only gripe is the audio level seems to be very inconsistent at times. When listening before bed at a low level it will be so quiet I can't hear anything, then it will be so loud I feel the need to turn it down. I've tried this on multiple devices and speakers.

I absolutely love the world building in this book.
I cannot wait until book five is released.
It's not that often that I find myself laughing at jokes that characters make in books but they're just so likable and rational.
Love the narration.

I see some other reviewers that mention "too much emotional character growth, story, and not enough power leveling."
I for one am of the oppoion that having a flushed out story and some relaxation every now and then is nice. I think the balance is good, and pacing is just right. I'm imagining the next book will have a fairly aggressive level up period.

I love the banter between Matt and Liz, I find myself laughing out loud frequently throughout the book.

It's a joy listening to multiple characters throughout the story banter and really live in the world that I'm listening to.

My only complaint is that it's too short! I love the fact that we learn about other characters and develop the world a bit more.
The foreshadowing of what's to come is great. I can't wait to see Salvos develop even further and become more powerful!

Wonderful voice performance as always.

Yes, there is some plot armour going on, but seriously, what move, show, etc. really doesn't have plot armour lol.

I love the story, currently on book 4.

I love books that focus on the main character and don't get too distracted by side stories.
This book is straight to the point, with action-packed combat, and it doesn't drag-on; this style is repeated throughout the series to the point that I am at and will continue to Book 8!
