A.B. is an amazing story teller!
Revisado: 04-22-25
Listening to an audiobook that is narrated by the author is almost always a treat. You hear the words, context, and emotion as it was intended. This book is no exception. If you’re an A.B. fan, then you will love this, as it has his signature wit, humor, and candor. If you’re not a fan yet, you probably will be soon after listening. This book is not entirely about Good Eats (although mentioned quite a bit), but rather a collection of events that shaped him throughout his life. This is likely not going to be a one-and-done listen for me, but rather something I’ll go back to again and again.

Historia
I learned a great many things on the hiking trails of America. One of the most important is that we all climb mountains. Every. Single. Day. I thought I was just hiking mountains. What I was really doing was learning valuable lessons that I could equate directly to life. Hiking thousands of miles over perhaps hundreds of mountains all over the United States teaches you a lot. With that said, you don’t have to be a hiker to enjoy any of these revelations.

Great book
Revisado: 02-24-23
I wish I read (listened) to this book before I bailed after day one of a four day hike. This book is not so much about hiking, but how hiking and the outdoors relates to our wellness and resiliency. I enjoyed it.
